Any Podiatrists out there? I have this strange feeling in the side of my left foot arch. The only way I can describe it is, it feels like a cell phone or pager set on vibrate. I goes off every few seconds and has been most of the morning. Not painful, just damn annoying. No, there's nothing under the floor doing it, and I don't think ET implanted anything last night and is now trying to phone home. SO what's going on with my foot?

I'm not a doctor, but is it maybe the way you're sitting? Sometimes tensions in the spine will show up in other places ... like feet. Just an idea. I hope you feel better soon. :goodvibes

Sounds like just one of those crazy little muscle spasms people get from time to time. You know, like when you get those little eye twitches. I have plantar faciitis right now and that's killing me. I'm going to need lots of Advil to get through my upcoming Disney trip.

I hate to be a Negative Nelly, but I'm thinking that more than a podiatrist (totally spelled that wrong) maybe you should see your GP if it lasts longer than 24 hours. While it could be something as simple as a pinched nerve or just a twitch, it could also be much more. I'm hoping and praying it goes away and stops being so annoying. If not, go see your doctor.

My annoying thing turned out to be MS. Before I get flamed or offend anyone...I totally realize that this is rare and the OP is most likely fine. Just my experience.

On one of my solo trips the plantar faciitis was killing me, too! You will need to do big calf and leg stretches a few times a day. EVERY DAY !! Get some really good arch supports and put them in your shoes. The "walk Fits" that
are "As seen on TV" will help, although they might hurt in the beginning.
There really is hope out there. Mine were really bad, but now I'm OK.
And YES ..... I had to see a podiatrist.

Darn. DIS Healthcare Network's first patient - and we don't have that service for you.

Are you sure you aren't confusing your eyes and feet?
