A question, and HELP

I have a questions- and a comment-

# 1- WOW oh WOW oh WOW- What a great bunch of DISigners are on this board! I have gotten soem amazing designs today not only for our cheer team, but for our family on our unexpected but totally needed Christmas trip to Disney. Thanks you to each and every one of the TERRIFIC DISigners who give so much of thier time, energy and creativity to those of us who haven't a clue how to make the magic you all do! KUDOS!

Now-- my questinos: I read in the rules not to ask someone else to make something if you've already asked another designer. posted on a thread today, and then went back and read and discovered that THAT particular designer might be super busy right now, there a quite a few request on front of me, and there hasn't been an update in a while on that thread (days if not weeks) Is it ok to ask here for a simple project? I would kinda just hang out and wait, but we are leaving on Sun. and I need to make things for 16 of our cheerleaders.

What I need is a black mickey ears with a large green background with yellow secondary bow with white polka dots (like a cheer or collegiate bow), and our logo http://s242.photobucket.com/albums/ff169/allynesma/Marion/

on the bottom of the mickey. I am going to make them into 2 1/4 inch buttons for my girls to wear- . I've seen what I want on a thread, but don't know if it's ok to ask someone else to make it! I don't' want to break any rules, or step on any toes!

Many designers, if they are too busy, will give permission for you or someone else to alter their design for you.

First, I would ask them if that is okay. Many times, unless you are leaving or need it within a week or two, can still get it done for you.

What you want seems simple enough. Also, Mickey Heads are not necessarily the work of just one designer. Marion does some sports MH's, Millie does many different styles, victoria does some too.

Anyway, I guess what I mean is ask, if you don't get an answer, just ask again here.

yeah, Marion is pretty much my hero-- and I LOVE her style..

I just want to be fair to to original designer, but need to get the design! it can wait until tomrrow, tho.
