A question about "No Expiration" tickets

My son is 8 and I am buying him a child's 7 day ticket, no expiration. We will only be using 4-5 days this trip. BY the next trip, he might be an "adult" under Disney's ticket rules. What happens in this case? Thanks. Jamie

You, he, and his ticket will go to Guest Services at any park, where the ticket will be swapped for the equivalent Adult ticket (e.g. same number of remaining days, same options) at no cost.
