A question about Kona/'Ohana breakfast

I have a few questions. Do both of these restaurants offer breakfast? Is one better than the other? Are the menu's the same?

Yes, they both offer breakfasts, but they are not the same. Ohana's bf is a character breakfast served family style. The characters are Chip n Dale, goofy and I forget who else. The food is ok - scrambeled eggs, mickey waffles, breakfast meats, etc.

Kona cafe is a menu breakfast and is EXCELLANT. Best breakfast I've had WDW. Lots of different choices. really yummy french toast. One of Disney's best kept secrets.

Seems you've already decided. But I agree with carol. We do Kona for breakfast every trip these days--we go on our MK day.

We also do Kona on our MK day. We usually go the park when it opens and stay for an hour or so, until the crowd starts coming in. Then, we hop the monorail over to the Poly for breakfast - we usually make our PS's for around 10:00 or so.

Kona is a must do for breakfast for us, too. Great service and food.

Kona cafe is the home of the famous Tonga Toast. It's a little too sweet for me, but dbf LOVES it.
I'm not sure if you should make a PS in Dec. I usually call over in the AM and try to get one. If you know when you'll be there it couldn't help.

And I think the best coffee in all of WDW is served at the Kona Cafe!
