A question about having an e-bay acc't...

My mom would like her own acc't. My dad has had one for a few years and uses their checking acc't, as well as their credit card.

I tried to sign my mom up, once, but they said that the banking/credit acc't #'s were already being used.

Can 2 different e-bay acc'ts use the same checking or credit card acc't or can mom not have her own acc't?

Do you mean Paypal? I don't think you need a CC# for just an ebay acc. Paypal won't let you use the same CC because it poses an identity theft threat.

You need a bank account or credit card to sign up for an Ebay account if you are using an unverified email address such as yahoo, hotmail, etc., where your identity can't be verified because you aren't required to use any ID to sign up. If you use an email address such as your comcast account, verizon, aol, etc., you won't need one.
