A PTR for Princesses of all ages...2 days to go.. will I ever be ready??

Okay Wendy I have to tell you I went to all three of those character meals and the food was amazing at Akershus and the service was amazing you will really really enjoy it I know you will!! IT is one of the one's I'm repeating in May and I'm so looking forward to going back and enjoying the princesses and the meal!!! Great choice and I'm sure your party will really enjoy it!

Jen..... what is this about your looking into DVC...let me know... I know a great guy there who works in DVC that can help you.... we don't own DVC but my sister does... she loves it...

I agree everyone should eat at CRT at least once. My first time to WDW, I was so disappointed walking through the castle. Had I had eaten there what a difference that would have made.

Any little tidbits about POR that you would like to share..... I did request building 14 and a first floor room as my mom has some medical problems and stairs are difficult for here.... but other than that I know nothing about POR... just what I have seen here....

as far as CRT... I am looking forward to dinner there as we have only been to breakfast before.... I know it seems like kind of a waste for 2 TS credits but since we are arriving late on Saturday night we won't be using the Saturday one... so why not....

When you still have a few months to go before your vacation every day can’t be a planning day… or can it….

With the help of my trusty computer I have found a way to keep everyone excited about our trip….. as if that was going to be a problem….

So now on a daily basis my friends, family, traveling companions get a email from me with the count down days…. And a bit of Disney Trivia….

Here was Thursday email…

We have 86 days until our trip.... here is a bit of Disney trivia for you !!!

When the Magic Kingdom was created, Walt Disney wanted his guests to feel as though they were entering a movie, and there are numerous indicators all along Main Street, USA to illustrate that metaphor. Like all movies, the Magic Kingdom had to have its opening and closing credit, with the names of people who were important to the creation of Walt Disney World. This is accomplished by placing the names on the windows over the shops on Main Street, USA . As you walk into the park, they are the opening credits, and act as the closing credits on the way out. Walt Disney's name, the only one to face the Castle, can be seen over the Plaza Ice Cream Parlor. His name is also the first you see as part of the "closing credits."

We have 82 days until our trip….. some more Disney trivia for you!!!

There is only one "official" hidden Mickey in the Haunted Mansion - and it probably isn't the one you think it is! The only one "officially recognized" by the Disney Imagineers is the one made out of sparkling lights on a tombstone near the singing woman in the graveyard scene. The ghost is located right before the opera singer - if you look to the right, there is a Grim Reaper holding a scepter. The top of it is shaped like Mickey's head.


I thought to myself as I was sending off todays email that it might be fun to post the trivia here... not that my DIS friends need it... they know most of it anyway..... but just incase....

Hi!! I'm going with my Mom and sister. We're taking my Mom for her 60th birthday, we just surprised her with the trip this week, we can't wait!!
I'm just finishing up my TR from my last trip and thinking about doing a PTR, but it seems SO early, we'll see.

I found how to get to your trip thread! Imagine that, all I had to do was click on your little what-cha-call-it with all the symbols!!!! Duh Love reading your plans. Ought to start my own for our May trip, huh? Probably more fun to just read yours!
Your Mom is going,right? I especially love that. My mom took us to Disneyland as often as she could afford it when we were little (there were five of us kids growing up in Southern Californai many years ago) but I never got to take her with my kids to WDW.
Keep up the planning so you can continue the story.

Looks like you've got everything all set for a great trip! We will be in WDW May 13-20th. We too are flying out of Rochester our rates were similar to yours. I was happy with them.

This is my first trip. We decided on CBR before I found these boards. Now I wish we hadn't based on what I've read. I'm sure it is going to be a fantastic time though and given its our first time (none of us have been) our expectations are low. I'm just a bit concerned with the size of the resort.

ADR's are made! I am so excited I can't seem to think of anything else.
