Well this is my first dining review so I hope I can live up to everyone's expectations. I really wanted to do a dining review because I loved reading everyone else's! We booked our free dining trip about four months prior to departure so I had lots of time to read and salivate over everyone's reviews before I booked. Even after I booked, I still read and looked at pics so I could really validate my choices!!! I ended up adding a few which was really great!
Here is the cast:
Me - 30 years old, 6th Disney Trip, fourth with DH and 2nd with DD. I LOVE basically ALL food and I was about 17 weeks pregnant so I had to make up for not riding TOT and Everest by eating lots of food!!!! My favorites are beef, seafood and anything chocolate.
DH - 29 years old. This is his 5th trip. He is a BIG eater but way to skinny if you ask me. Not sure where it all goes! Anyways, his favorite foods are beef, pizza and asian. He is not a big dessert eater so more for me!
DD - 2.5 years old. She is not the best eater, never has been. She wasn't on the dining plan and was fine eating off our plates. She'll eat chicken (especially breaded), mashed potatoes and anything sweet. Oh and she drinks LOTS of chocolate milk, which suits Disney world just fine!
Here is a pic of us at Le Cellier:

So we were headed to Disney World for 6 days, 7 nights from Sept 8-14. We would have booked 7 nights but the flights didn't work out. We were going for free dining (ofcourse!) we did it last year and absolutely loved it. We only did one of the same restaurants (Crystal palace) so everything else was brand new to us. We also did MNSSHP on Sept 11th and had a blast.
We stayed at the Wilderness lodge and LOVED it.
The boat ride to MK makes it all worth it. We had a courtyard view which was nice, 6th floor.
Here is what I will be reviewing:
Table service:
Whispering Canyon
Chef Mickey's
Sci Fi
Cinderella's Royal Table
Ohanas
Crystal Palace
Le Cellier
Counter Service:
Wolfgang Pucks
Roaring Forks
Yak and Yeti
Snacks:
Aloha Isle
Casey's
Goofy's
Norway
I really hope you enjoy my review. I have to say that it felt really strange to take pictures of my food at first but I got used to it...DH on the other hand wasn't a big fan, only because I was delaying him from eating!!!!
