A pregnant mama, Mr. Crazypants, and Ga-Gae celebrate Epcots 30th! TR LINK-10/16!

Your trip is getting so close!

Super cute skirt, and it sounds comfortable! The shoes aren't super cute, but you're right- who cares. :lmao:

The option of walking to and from MK is the real draw for the Contemporary for me. I always thought I wanted to stay at the Poly, but after the monorail issues on the last trip? UGH. Now I'm leaning toward BC for the resort itself, and the CR for the walking option.

We did Tony's on the last trip. It'll be one of the last ones I review, but it was pretty good!

That skirt is so cute!

Your day in MK looks great! And yes, the Contemporary pool is definitely worth a break for! I loved it! :)

OH. I must tell you. I know you're a cupcake fan so I HAVE to fill you in on some things. I don't know if you're a chocolate peanut butter fan, but there is a chocolate peanut butter cupcake at the Contempo Cafe that is THE BEST cupcake I have ever had! OH MY. It was so, SO good! However, I also had a taste of the red velvet, and it was delicious too! So I don't know if you have any plans for cupcakes, but if you don't, you must make a plan to get one!

I am right there with you! Seriously! I am dreading being in that area all because of that stupid splash zone. :headache: I am already mentally preparing myself for a major tantrum. But, I am determined to not give in. If he's kicking & screaming, I will just pick him up & carry him out of Storybook Circus. I don't care how many evil looks I get. :rotfl2:

Oh yeah - you know we'd have to go in there to chase down those crazy boys & make them leave. And then we'll get all drenched! And I can just see myself slipping & falling. You definitely need to be careful if you do end up having to go in there. I remember when I was pregnant with Reid, it was nothing for me to trip over my own feet. :sad2:

:lmao: I like the way you think! :thumbsup2 I bet no one would notice! :lmao:

Count me in for that mission! We'll get some cute all black outfits & masks. And I'll bring some "Mission Impossible" type music to set the mood! :rotfl2:

I guess the imagineers had good intentions with that thing, but seriously, couldn't they have just put it in a waterpark where it belongs! :sad2:

And don't worry about being the mom that drags her kid out kicking and screaming, I'll be there that week too, so at least you won't be alone! :rotfl2: There is safety in numbers from other judgey Moms! :rotfl:

Yay for your trip coming up so soon!!! You must be so excited!!!

If it makes you any more excited for your Tony's ADR, I have actually been seeing a bunch of good reviews from there lately! :thumbsup2

That does make me feel a little better! I know I need to try it to check it off the list, and Everett loves pasta, so that will be at least one night I don't have to fight with him to eat! :rotfl2:

That maternity running skirt is really cute! I didn't even know they made them. I bet it'll be perfect for the parks, when you're on your feet for hours at a time.

I always take a break in the afternoon, but it's normally just DH and I, so we can leave and return quickly. I imagine there's a lot more work involved with kids. Naps, unloading and loading strollers, etc. I guess you'll just have to play it by ear and see how tired you (and Everett) are. :confused3

Seems like ths trip will open up the opportunity to do things a little differently, like see the Dapper Dans.

I've heard so many different reviews of Tony's that it's hard to say what your experience will be like, but I can understand the desire to eat at all of WDW restaurants. Such a fun goal, and it gives us frequent visitors something new to try. :goodvibes

I didn't know they made maternity running skirts until I saw that lady at Busch gardens! I was considering running her down and asking her where she got it, but I didn't want to seem like a stalker! :lmao: I'm glad google is my friend! :)

I never take breaks because, well, I hate breaks! To me breaks are wasting precious park time that should never be squandered no matter now tired you are. :lmao: This time I'm really going to try to go against the grain, we'll see how successful I am. ;)

Good to hear that you liked Tony's!

Walking from the MK will be a good option, but I'm not sure how often I'm going to be able to utilize it. With a train-obsessed two year old, I'll be risking nuclear melt-down if we dare to skip the "mou choo-choo". Its pretty much all he has been talking about for the past two months. I'm really crossing my fingers for no monorail trouble!

Umm, cupcakes are always part of my plans! :):rotfl:

Chocolate peanut butter cupcake- I'll likely eat three (a day that is) :rotfl2:

:lmao: So true! :thumbsup2

Thank goodness you'll be there, too! If you hear a commotion going on in Storybook Circus, I'm sure it's us. :rotfl2:

I'm subbing in! All of your plans sound great so far. I like how you are really considering the personality of your son when making decisions. I think that is how people get themselves in trouble at Disney w/ small kids...they know what their child can or can't handle and they push the envelope by saying "well, they won't do that at Disney." We have taken my son on a few visits to WDW and we KNOW he needs a nap most days, so we leave. As hard as it is, we know it buys us more time later and gets us a better behaved kid.

I also wanted to tell you that I had the opportunity to go to the mansions in Newport last month too! We did a road trip all over that area of the east coast and that was one of our must-dos. We didn't give ourselves enough time and only did The Breakers and Rosecliff, but wow! They were amazing. We live on the west coast, so I don't know when we will ever get back there, so I'm glad we made the effort to see them. What did you think of them?

I don't blame you one bit, baby clothes are so much fun to buy!

-They really are! I doesn't hurt that I'm surrounded by baby stuff all day! I work at Kiddie Kandids (a kids photo studio inside Babies R Us) and we have all different sales all the time! So, on my lunch breaks, I'll go pick up a few items every day and then buy them twice a month when I get paid! Right now we have a 50% off of the clearance clothes racks, which makes it super cheap!

-That's a really neat skirt! I'll have to keep that in mind! This is really OT, but have you seen these skirts? I've had a few of my friends try them and they love them!

Really cute skirt! and the shoes look comfy, though I liked your ugly comment LOL! I don't care either about ugly shoes, and still wear the merrils I bought for Italy and Disney 2010 almost daily. Love them! And the cost was SO SO worth it.

That picture of empty FL was super cool! I love it!

I was very cautious while preggo. But, I also hate the teacups as I get sick, so I would NOT have ridden it while preggo. Just seems too much. I guess if you didn't spin though you'd be fine (and I'm SURE you'd be fine regardless, I think if there's no warning from Disney, then there is practically no way it could affect the baby or else they'd be all over with with warnings against riding).

I last ate at Tony's in 2004! LOL! And haven't had the urge to go back BUT I didn't find it awful either. So I think it's a good choice for trying to visit every restaurant! Thankfully I can say I've been there...so no need to go back.. :lmao:

Pregnant or not pregnant, I never do the teacups. Too old!

I love seeing the pictures of MK all decorated for the fall with the leaves and pumpkins. So pretty! :)

Oh Casey Jr, you seem so innocent in the movie, why oh why did the imagineers turn you into a instrument of parental torture! :lmao:

I'm doing my best to remember how Everett is in real life and not let my eyes be clouded by pixie dust, but I'll admit, its hard. The fantasy of a Disney vacation is tough to resist.

We really loved the mansions and Newport in general. We didn't do Rosecliff (that was the one I wanted to get to but we didn't have time), but it looked amazing from the outside. I guess it just gives us an excuse to go back there.

That birthing skirt looks really cool, I forwarded the link onto some of my friends who are really into natural births. One of my friends is planning a homebirth (she is a much stronger woman than I!) and this would be perfect for her. I will likely end up with a repeat C-section (Everett was a 9 1/2 lbs baby, and this one will likely be just as big), so unfortunately I don't think I would get any use out of it.

I'm sure your right, Disney is so OVER cautious that if there is even a chance of anything happening, those lawyers slap warnings all over it.

Your comment about Tony's is pretty funny, I think the general consensus is that it is OK, but no one is rushing back there. Maybe that is why I didn't have trouble getting an ADR :rotfl2:

Pregnant or not pregnant, I never do the teacups. Too old!

I can't wait to see those decorations again in person, I know that most people love MK at Christmastime, but I like fall the best.

Well, we got some surprising new yesterday! I went to my big ultrasound, and as it turns out, my princess was actually a prince in disguise. I guess the joke was on me! :lmao:

Now I get to spend the rest of the week returning girl clothes, I probably should have been more practical and less overzealous. :sad2:

In other irritating news my running skirt came and it is too small. It barely fits around my belly now, and I'm only getting larger. I am went ahead and ordered the largest size on the website and we'll see how that fits when it get here. Apparently people who run throughout their pregnancies don't get very big.

I've also been stalking a bunch of ADRs and have had some success. When I get everything nailed down, I'll update you all on my ADR juggling.

OMG! That's HUGE news! Congrats on your little PRINCE!! He'll have a fantastic older brother, but I'm so sorry you have to return everything (THANK GOODNESS you kept the tags, I was not so smart and washed everything immediately - we'd have been screwed LOL). I'm sorry you had your heart set on something and it changed, but I guess babies do that every day hehehe.

AND sorry about the skirt. Can you return the too-small one? I hope the biggest one fits! That's ridiculous, all the maternity clothes I purchased said to get the same size as you wore before pregnancy.

Good luck with ADR's! Yes, Tony's is one of the easier ones...there's usually a reason for that! ;)

Ahh, oh my gosh, how crazy!! At least you found out now, and not in the delivery room, like my aunt's sister did. :rotfl: Congrats on another little boy to spoil!

Too bad about the skirt, hopefully you can get the right size this time. I just went through a lot of drama trying to exchange a pair of Teva flip flops through the mail, so I hope yours is not as much of a headache as mine was. What a pain!

Good luck getting the ADRs you want!

Oh my goodness! I bet that was quite the shock! I know you'll be excited to have another little guy to love & spoil. Sorry you have to return all the lovely pink clothes though. :sad1:

That's too bad about the skirt, too! I'm with you - runners don't get big baby bellies? :confused3 I just remember how huge my stomach was - then again, Reid was a good size baby when he was born.

Happy to hear you've had some ADR success! :thumbsup2 Can't wait to hear about them! :goodvibes

Oh wow! What a surprise! Congrats, though on adding another little prince to your family!:cheer2: I'm sure Everett will enjoy having a younger brother around.

That's a bummer about the running skirt. It sounded like such a good idea; hopefully, the new one will work out. :thumbsup2

I'm so sorry that you have so many pink things to return! On the bright side, you're probably pretty well outfitted for a little boy--and every penny saved=another WDW trip! (at least in my mind :lmao:)

Sorry about the running skirt too. That's a bummer, and not the feeling you want to get when you're pregnant.

Can't wait to hear about the ADRs!!

Well, that is quite the interesting surprise. :lmao: I'm glad you found out now though before you spent a lot more time and money focusing on pink things. :rotfl2:

Congratulations to you and to Everett on having a little brother!

Oh my goodness! Well, hooray for a new little prince! Maybe someday you'll get your princess, too. :goodvibes

Congratulations on your little prince!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :yay::yay::yay::yay::yay::yay:

He sounds like he's going to be a little prankster!!! Well, this just means more cute baby item shopping! :thumbsup2

-She will probably love it then! My best friend just used on of these and raved about it (she also had a c-section). http://www.shopbyog.com/shop.html

-WOW! Congrats! That stinks that you have to return all of the girl stuff :( such a hassle!

-Ugh! That stinks too! I hate that women's clothing is so inconsistent in their sizing...

Oh my goodness! What a surprise! Congrats on having a little brother for Everett. :)
