Hello everyone!! This is our first trip to the "World" together as a couple.
We have both gone in the past several times before we met. So we are VERY excited to be able to experience this together for the first time!! Our dates are Sept 8-15 2007.:cool1:

Meet the CAST:

ME(Tinkerbell): A kid trapped in a women's body!! I'm 30 years old. Step-Mother to 3 kids AND mother to Bailey, our 2 year old Yorkshire Terrier. I'm a licensed Esthetician currently not working because of my heart condition. But not letting that stop me going to Disney!!:cool1:

Hubby(Tigger): 43 year old Accountant, which helps in the financial planning of our trip!! He's been to Disney plenty of times with his kids but has NEVER experienced a "no kids" trip. Too busy always taking care of the kiddies to really truly enjoy some of the things Disney has to offer for the the older crowds. So this should be a treat for him to go and just focus on being a kid himself!!

I have been a lurker here on the Disboards for MONTHS now. WOW...soo much information I have acquired through this forum!! We have read countless trip reports and did A LOT of researching using this forum, Tour Guide Mike, and Deb's Unofficial Guide. PLUS I have A Passporter...what a gem!!!:thumbsup2

Well from doing our research, first we decided on Pop Century. We looked up all the information you can possibly look up on this hotel. It seemed like a great fit and also we were looking for VALUE!! Since we knew we were'nt going to spend a whole lot of time in the room, we really didn't care if we stayed at a Value Resort.....we just wanted to make sure we stayed at a Disney Resort. When it got down to releasing the Free Dining Packages, we were ready to BOOK!! I called up Disney Reservations and was informed that Pop Century was booked and our only options were All Star Music or All Star Sports:confused: ROADBLOCK!!!! At first I was kinda upset about it since I had spent so much time with the whole POP CENTURY idea but what the heck, I took All Stars Music and was ready to make a go of it:cool2:

I heard after doing my research on All Stars Music, that this resort is one of the quiet ones of the All Stars. And OF COURSE that was a PLUS to hear since this is a couples trip:hug:

After months of lurking and hours flipping through the Passporter and any other Disney related items we could get our hands on, we finally made our last payment on our trip, booked all of our Disney Dining Ressies and found a great flight from Columbus, OH to Orlando . We are alll set to go!!!:woohoo:

Stay tuned for our ITINERARY , Well, what we have so far, and some pics!!! :surfweb:
