Just called the POR number. Still not sure if that actually goes to the resort or if it goes to reservations. I've heard both. They answer the phone saying POR and you can't hear anyone in the background like you usually can when you call reservations. . . But anyway, this CM had no idea what I was talking about with the pool slide refurb. . . I told her that I called last week and they told me it was closed from Oct 19-Nov 7. She searched and searched and still nothing. Asked me where I heard this. I told her that I read it on the internet and called this same number last week and they confirmed it and told me to call back this week to make sure it was on schedule. She told me she still couldn't find anything and was going to ask her supervisor. . . Came back and insisted that they have no info/knowledge of this. I was about to hang up and call back again hoping for someone else, then she said she would "call up to the front of POR". Came back and told me I was right and that it has been under refurbishment and will be open the morning of the 6th. Why is it always such a big ordeal to call Disney???

So anyway, great news!! It will be open just in time for us!
