A Pre Thanksgiving/Christmas Vacation, Our First Split Stay & Our 5th Trip to Disney!

Okay, so the crazy Disney dreams started last night. You know them. You all have them shortly before your trips too, right? Please tell me you do and that I'm not crazy!!

So we were in MK and going to ride BTMRR. It was just DS8 and I that were going to ride (which is weird, usually DS10 rides with me). DH was there just hanging out. There were only about 8-10 people in line. I remember taking a picture to show you guys just how uncrowded is was. There were no CM's working at BTMRR. You just went in and loaded on the train and it took off. Then afterwards we walked through a crazy looking door and we were in Canada in Epcot. DH was talking to a CM and DS8 and I sat down at a table and someone brought us some pizza and corn on the cob. Oh, and our neighbor boy was there.

CRAZY, right??? Why were MK and Epcot connected? Why was BTMRR empty? Why were we given pizza and corn on the cob? In Canada? Why was the neighbor kid in Epcot? AND WHERE WAS DS10???

Hilarious! Maybe you're missing warm weather and dreaming of corn on the cob. Weird that DS10 wasn't there but your neighbor kid was? Did you bring the wrong kid with you? That's a waaay worse offense than forgetting your DH's undies.
I have weird ones before our trips too. Haven't had any yet, but mine are usually that we are running out of time to get to everything or that we went and forgot our suitcases or stroller or something important.

I've been absent from your TR lately, but I just caught up some and I had to tell you how much I loved your scrapbooks! Believe me, you are not *behind* in your scrapbooking. I won't even say how behind I am (as in never started and my kids are 25 & 22 ) But I've got lots of ambition!

Actually I think where the pizza/corn on the cob came into play was that all week I have been thinking about going out to dinner at Chili's this weekend. Whenever we go there DS10 always gets pizza with corn on the cob as his side!

I guess it's possible I took the wrong kid. I mean the neighbor kid practically lives here. Yes, that is worse than forgetting undies!

My pre Disney trip dreams usually involve forgetting something really important too. . . camera, luggage, etc. Not sure why this one was especially crazy!

I had a dream that I left DD7 in the airport on the way to Disney and had to make them land the plane in a neighborhood so I could catch a taxi to go get her. Because you know, that's doable.

You are not alone... I dreamt I forgot about DD's bday party ( it's tomorrow)... we never even showed up ! I woke up thinking what if I forget about Disney. I forgot my 99 days! What if I forget my ADR day !

The night before our trip I check the plane tickets numerous times because I am paranoid I 'll be late ( or forget!!!) Dreams like this - they are natures mind games~

Your dream reminded me of Kingdom Keepers... that would be a good chapter riding BTMRR and coming out through the Canada Epcot Mountain Terrain.

Love that dream!! I too think I'll bring a neighbor girl places - she also practically lives here. Funny thing is, she's as blond and fair as my girls are dark, so she doesn't really blend in!

I had a weird dream sort of disney-related. I woke up at about 5 a.m. the other day, and thought, did I really dream that? I dreamt that I met Charleston Princess from the DIS. I've been reading her TRs. Never met her in real life. So I dreamt that I met her at the Minnesota Teachers Union meetings (which happen to be this week). I walked up to her and said, Hi, are you Charleston Princess? And we chatted for hours over coffee. Weirder still, she lives in Georgia and I know she is a teacher. Even weirder, I am not a teacher; I am a lawyer.
Maybe too much DISing before bed???

But I also have dreams before trips, same thing - I forgot something, or missed a plane, or some strange event happens. It's just that we can't stop thinking (read - "stressing") about our trips.

I think you should plan on forgetting DH's underoos or a toothbrush so then you can stop worrying.

Oh my gosh!! I have those crazy dreams too!!! It's usually that we are sitting in our resort...the night before we leave and I realize that we haven't done ANYTHING!!!! I freak out wondering what we have done all week
Or that we get the wrong plane...just crazy stuff.....makes me wake up in a panic!!! Shelly...how funny about the neighbor kid!! I have to say I have not dreamed yet of taking someone else's kids with me!!!

I usually have that dream too. That we are about ready to come home from Disney but we didn't do anything. Or that I forgot to take pictures of anything.

Well we still have a lot going on pretty much right up until we leave. So they aren't getting too antsy yet! DS8 has soccer up until Oct 25th and DS10 has it until Nov 1st. That first week of November is the fall book fair at the school. So I will spend a good part of my time there that week. Not to mention all the calling and coordinating volunteers I need to do for it prior to that week. Next Saturday I have my Tastefully Simple party. We will have Halloween and Trick or Treat and a parade in there too. And 2 days before we leave is DS8's field trip! So add cleaning and packing in there somewhere!

I didn't even change my signature for about 5-6 months after DS turned 10. I was in total denial!

Another chilly afternoon here. But the sun is shining, so that should make the soccer games a little more pleasant. About to head to the fields soon.

I can't believe we are at 20 days today in our Disney countdown and will be in the TEENS tomorrow!

Wow, you're getting so close! I'm jealous! We are still in the 70's for days left Oh well, it will come soon enough!
