Shelly~ love the Pringles idea...I don't usually buy stuff like that either for just at home. Do you ship your stuff down there too? I looooove doing that!! You know OUR weather was weird today too!! Started out foggy....then HOT...then very dark and rainy!!! then it just stayed cloudy and dark for most of the day/evening. I heard we are supposed to get a small cool front this evening....can't wait! It was 92 today!!!! I guess this is the real start to your fall weather, huh?

My kids associate donuts with Disney. We bought a box of chocolate covered donuts on the ride to FL last time. DD now says "we gonna get donuts and go to Dinney Whirl".

Hey Shelly!

Love the snax! Y'all have such neato food stuffs down there in the U.S.! We don't get CapriSun or Cocoa Puffs up here in Ontairo! Also, it is a litle known fact that up here in Canada our "light coloured" sodas ie. 7-Up, Sprite, Mountain Dew are all NON CAFFEINATED! I love getting Mountain Dew with caffeine whenever we are in the states!

We have had had some crazy wild weather up here too! Cold, rainy and Crazy windy! Our trash cans blew down the driveway and all our patio furniture got tipped over! I guess there's somekind of crazy weather front that is hitting ALL of us!

Glad to see that your little man had a great party! Hawaiian Pirates! My DD8 would LOVE that theme! Remember to change his age in your siggie after he actually turns 8!

Hi Shelly! I'm joining in, only 22 pages late! I did go back and read them all...your plans sound great!

We're another family that in theory would love to do the more relaxed pace...but somehow we can't do it! Maybe it's because we don't go to WDW regularly or frequently, and never know when we'll be back. Plus we've never had more than 5 park days/6 nights there. I should make that a goal: to go to WDW enough/stay long enough that we can take it easy when we're there!

I like the spllit-stay idea. I'm sure it won't be TOO much hassle! Can't wait to hear about and see your pictures of OKW. I've thought about renting DVC points and staying there.

Keep giving us more details...I love hearing peoples' plans! Just over a month to go!

Hey!! I haven't checked in hear for a while. I love the pictures from your son's pool party, it looks like it was a blast!!! I would love to do that for a party!!

And I love picking things up for Disney Trips, I do it now, at 10 months out, can you imagine how bad I am when we're just a few weeks away Yes, i'm scary!!!

No, I don't ship the food. I wrap it in packaging tape. Then put it in a ziplock. Then in another ziplock. Then in a plastic bag - like Walmart or something. Then inside a plastic garbage bag. Then in a suitcase. All the food and liquids go in one suitcase. That way we have an empty suitcase to bring home our souvenirs!! I have never had one thing leak ever!! So it's always a huge pain to unwrap all that stuff, but just want to be safe!

Yes, this is the beginning of our fall. The leaves are changing and it is actually very pretty out when it is not raining! It is windy & raining again today. High only in the 50's. I guess I am going to have to break down and turn the furnace on! I always try to wait until October. I guess October is almost upon us. And that means - it is time to bring the winter clothes up from the basement and pack the summer clothes away. And this year that means - IT'S TIME TO START PACKING FOR DISNEY!!!!!

OMG Mtn Dew with no caffeine??? I have to have my caffeine (I mean my Mtn Dew!)! And they don't sell it anywhere at WDW. All Coke products.

I hope your weather gets better. I was picking up patio furniture yesterday too.

it was windy here too - all weekend and yesterday. Sunday my patio table had the umbrella open (my mistake) and it tipped the table over. The winds have died down, but we've definitely gotten the fall weather. Highs in the 60s. Sweatshirts!!

I'm hoping we can break into the 60's today, but it doesn't look like that is going to happen until the weekend. The wind does seem to be dying down a bit, so that's good!

Hi Shelly! Love the stash of stuff. LOL- that looks about like what I come home with from Wal Mart every other day. My kids go thru some serious garbage. Bad Mom, I know.

It was 39 degrees here overnight. In the low 70's for a high today. But-- you know what? When Fall rolls around- I always feel like I should be packing for WDW too. Not this year for us, sadly.

Pretty soon, we will all be reading your TR and wishing we had've gone.

I got DISNEY MAIL!!!



My maps came yesterday! You can now choose between 2 themes. Last time I ordered them there was just the one theme. So I decided to change it up this time and went with the new one. It has characters on it and is brighter. Not as sophisticated as the other theme, but still nice. These ones look more like the maps you get in the park.

Wal-Mart....it's one of those necessary evils. My "few things" always add up too so you're not alone. Pringles are a must have for any out of town trip.

I ordered the same maps you did this go round. I thought the other ones were cooler but I wanted something different and ordered the character ones.

About two weeks ago, we had rain every day. It rained so hard we had flood warnings. But, it did help cool it off a little. When I say cool off, I mean it dropped the temperature down to the high 80's/low 90's. Tonight, we are supposed to have a low temperature of high 50's which is fine and dandy with me.

Yes, the boys plan to eat at Casey's. Again. Luckily we will be in MK two different days, so I am hoping to try Cosmic Ray's one of them!

I don't really care for hot dogs. All beef or beef & chicken. I usually just take a few bights and then eat cheese fries for my meal at Casey's! The kids get those mini-corndogs. So DH is actually the only one eating a hot dog. It will be interesting to see if he notices. I kind of doubt it!
