Stupid afternoon flight!

I almost spit out my coffee!! I've never done an afternoon flight, it just would feel like I was wasting so much Disney day! Of course this last trip with driving straight thru the night and getting there at noon, our first day was pretty much shot anyway!

I know. It stinks. But it was the best deal I could get at the time. We should be to our hotel by 5:30, so the day will be pretty much shot. We plan to get some dinner at the POR food court and maybe going over to Epcot for a few hours. Hey, at least we won't be tired, it's not like we have to get up early for our flight!!!

I wish we didn't have to get up so early..but the other flights were sooo late...at least you will get a good nights sleep before not worrying about missing it!

We are having some pretty crappy weather here today. Not sure about trick or treating tonight. . . . The high is supposed to be 54 and raining all day. This is usually what we end up with for Halloween. And normally we would just bundle up and go out. But with the kids both having a cough and Disney being in one week I just don't know what to do. . .

I wish we didn't have to get up so early..but the other flights were sooo late...at least you will get a good nights sleep before not worrying about missing it!

We normally have an early morning flight. Except for once we had a 2:00 flight like we do this time. I actually remember it being a rather pleasant experience. No one was tired or grumpy from getting up too early! It just stinks to arrive so late and lose most of your first day. But we do have an extra day this time. We are coming back Sunday instead of Saturday, so we will get that day back!

It was cruddy here, too...NOT a great soccer morning, especially with a croupy(sp?)-sounding 18 mon. old! But it was the last game for both kids' teams, so we dealt with it. The sun ended up peaking through, but it was so windy and wet from the rain we had the last day or so (that you probably got today) that it was like soup out there. I hope you guys have better field conditions for the end of your season tomorrow!

Trick-or-treating wasn't as bad, though. The wind had died down, and the sun had been out for a while. What did you guys end up doing?

Today was our last day of soccer and it was freezing!! As we were sitting there freezing our behinds off DH said - next week at this time we will be nice and warm!!

We ended up going trick or treating for about an hour. It was windy and cold. Probably shouldn't have went. DS8's fever was back last night. I'm not sure what to do for him. A fever every other day is weird. . . I may call the doctor tomorrow even if his fever isn't back tonight.

Just keep checking those stations every day! Ha! Sorry he's feeling off and on like that...that's how my ds10 is doing...he slept 6 hours today and has a yucky sounding cough..left over from the flu. Ds13 looks terrible...he is about to try to eat...he hasn't had hardly anything to speak of since Tuesday!!!! Just can not eat! I hope your boys are back to 100 % tomorrow..
