DD and I are planning the 12th at Epcot (with a late lunch ressier for Le Cellier) and the 13th at DHS. Maybe we'll run into each other!

Really? I'm surprised you'd say let Disney transfer your luggage. I thought for sure you would say take a cab!!

I'd have a rental car so- yes, in fact I would be doing it myself, LOL!:goodvibes

That way I'd check in and if my room wasn't ready, I'd just leave the suitcases in the car and go to a park.

But- in your circumstance--- you will be leaving the luggage with bellservices at OKW anyway-- (That's the part that skeeves me out -- be it a transfer on ME or what have you--- I don't like the thought of people rifling thru my many many pair o' drawers.... I know- I have to over look that part when I fly- I'm weird)
so--- if you let Disney do the trnasfer, you'll make the breakfast and won't be worried about getting the cab. All of you couldn't fit in it anyway unless you got a van-- am I right?:confused:

So then you'd be worried about that little gem.

I just got off the phone with Disney AGAIN. I feel like I call them at least 2X a week for something or other.

I received 3 invoices this week. Why 3? I don't know. Neither does the CM. :sad2: They all show paid in full, which is correct. But they all show departing on the 14th. Which is incorrect. And they all still have the wrong phone number on them. I have called about the phone number change at least 6-7 times. Each CM claims that the last one didn't do it right but they will. Yeah, right. :rolleyes: I don't understand why this is so hard. Some tell me it's a computer glitch. Since I made the reservation before we moved this summer I made it under my old phone number. "The system" keeps reverting back to that number. Or so I'm told! :confused3 As for the departure date, we depart from POR on the 13th and OKW on the 15th. Where are they getting the 14th???

All of our invoices show us checking in on Nov 12 (correct), but checking out on Dec 5th (incorrect - that's our original check outdate) I can't find one CM who can change it on the invoice, but on our reservations and everything else, it has the correct date.

I'd love to stay until the 5th and not have them charge me for it!

Hello! Happy Saturday! Hope everyone is having a nice weekend.

We are just getting things ready for DS's birthday party. It's in a few hours. Luckily it is indoors because we are having some nasty weather here today. We rented out the indoor pool at a local hotel. Should be fun, the boys are very excited!! :yay::yay: His actual birthday isn't until next Saturday, but the pool was booked for that day (when I tried to book it 6 months ago!). And we couldn't do a Sunday party because of soccer. I cant believe my baby is turning 8! :sad:

I would always call them and tell them it was wrong and they'd give me the same story they are giving you....the last person didn't do it correctly or something similar. How darn hard is it to change a phone number in the computer system?

:laughing: Yes, I know. A lot of their friends are so rough! Usually we have a nice mix of boys and girls. Which is nice because girls seem to be so much calmer. But somehow we ended up with all boys this time! :upsidedow

They say that since I originally booked the ressie under my old number that there is a glitch in the system that causes it to revert back to that number if it doesn't get changed in every possible place. This CM assured me that she changed it in every place she could and under all of our names but that she couldn't promise anything. :rolleyes: But hey, at least she was honest!! :rotfl:

Some pics of the party yesterday. We started out with a Hawaiian theme. Then DS wanted a POTC cake. So we ended up with Hawaiian Pirates!!pirate::confused3:rotfl: We rented the indoor pool and party room at a local hotel.

Shelly... we did the split stay once... we went from POP to AKL... we had Disney take the luggage and we went over and checked oursevles in...glad I did it that way... luggage arrived perfectly fine... and we got a free upgrade to a savanha room.... it was really pretty easy!!!

Thanks for the info Wendy! I am secretly hoping for a magical upgrade at OKW since we are only staying for 2 nights. It seems that the shorter your stay the better the chances are for an upgrade. At least that's what I hear, I've never actually gotten an upgrade! :rotfl:
