A possible tip regarding the exchange rate

I just posted a thread on the main DVC board (not sure how to link to the thread but I'm sure you can have a look for yourselves) and a very nice person has posted this

" Furthermore, since I trade currencies for a living (I am a financial analyst in FX markets), I think the the US Dollar is going to continue falling in value versus the Pound Sterling. So waiting should be to your advantage".

So, it might just be worth waiting a bit before ordering those dollars!

Thank you for the tip! The market rate is up to 1.80 today which is the highest it has been for a while....we will see!!

Me too! Thanks for the tip we have been wanting to buy some $$, and have been holding out, will hold out a little longer with crossed fingers.

I have to buy some soon but I am holding on just to see if it goes up anymore, at the moment it seems to be $1.72 we were getting $1.80 last year so heres hoping it gets a bit better than it is now.

Be careful if UK base rate falls 0.25, it might tip back, if that happens.
