Aww, Rosie yuck! We would be a scary pair today - last night had a terrible allergic reaction in my right eye - it blew waaay up and had to take 50 mgs of benadryl, then more this morning. It is still swollen and gooey...but it will be better as the day goes on, I hope!

;s blurry !!!Well saw my doctor !!!!He said not pink eye !!! Great I think tillhe starts talking more !! It's a haemorrage in my eye and he suggests I see an opthamologist and if in between I have pain or blurry vision to go to the ER !!Hey maybe Pink Eye was better !!Hey doc can it please be that So I call the Eye doctor and am amazed they get me right in !!Amazed but also a little scared as to why!!!So they check my vision and pressure and then put drops in !! Doc says is your vision blurry Hello ya just dropped those drops in my eye Yah it's blurry!!Well he checked and said I had something around my corneas Man I am getting sick of this !! I ask what is around my cornea he says it could be from cholestrol He seemed real challant about it so I think me and my corneal rings are safe !!Then he finally gave me GOOD NEWS ... No damage behind my eye , just be easy today as it was caused by a strain ie as in carrying the vacuum downstairs cuz the girls ignored me Tomorrow I use warm compresse BUT NOT today no idea why not !But he gave me a note saying I was not contagious The eye will take a couple of weeks to heal so I want that note so I can work!!!

That's good news, but I can understand that at first the development sounded rather scary! But it really sounds like things are going to be fine soon and I am happy that it is nothing contagious so no danger to your trip!!!

Thank you !!I am glad it was not SIGHT threatening as burst blood vessels in your eye can be dangerous although usually not

Okay Rosie, since you seem to miss me the most when I'm not around , and you already chastised me (but fortunately not taken a wooden spoon to me ) about letting you know when I'm gonna be MIA, I figured this was the best place to post this update.

This is going to be a short, but very busy week for me. Have a lot to do at work to get ready to head out for all the festivities at DS21's college this weekend. It is Parent's Weekend, which is when they do all the huge ceremonies to present the Senior's their rings. Although I will be mostly out of touch, I will probably at least try to check in for updates when I can, even if I don't get to post much, just to keep up with things. Don't think for one second that just because I'm not posting, I'm not reading ninja fashion to make sure you and Kathy behave while I'm away!!!

BTW, so glad you will be okay soon with your eye issue from yesterday. At least you weren't contagious (although the banter and your humor on here are INFECTIOUS) so you can continue to work and get everything done before heading off to The World! And don't worry, I should be able to spend more time on here soon, at least by the time you head off for your trip!

UPDATE NEWS!!!!!

Thanks to Christine I had a number to call !!!I spoke to a very helpful CM named Helen (Coy was Off) She had no trouble accessing our ressie and gave me the number etc !! Yes we did have a medical fridge already, which was not what the TA told me and the Agency lady only knew she said she had added a fridge !!I also confirmed what I already knew that I do not need a note from an MD for the fridge !!Helen was quite definate on that!! Hey Miss TA you were not right again!!! Helen also called over to Pop while I was on the line and spoke to the Room assigners and we will get rooms all on the same floor for sure !! Until she did this it would only have been same building !! Again don't listen to Rosie

Carol has the CHECK so early next week we will go buy the Memory book supplies and such things as BLISTER bandaids , toothbrushes and razors ( items that get forgoten), some hard candy, ziploc baggies of various sizes !!
Helen also told me it will be a regular fridge

So I am feeling much more confident !!Now my main worry is the airport and the flight !! Here are my concerns
1. They wont let us preboard ( I;ve been told we just ahve to say we are a special needs group)
2. Carol will pass out on the flight
3. We won't find the other 4 at the airport !!
4. Someone will forget their ID

What do you think if any will happen?????????

Wow Rosie - I was wondering how your pink eye was and see that you had a cornea scare!!! I'm glad your doctor said there is nothing serious.

I say you will have major pixie dust on your travel day and none of your worries will come true!!
