A plethora of lime green!

I just came home from shopping for a lime green blouse for our trip and for the 2005 Northeast DIS meet. Let me just say that there is NO shortage of bright lime green in the clothing market!! A few years back when lime green was chosen as the "official" DIS color, it was definitely not a popular hue and easily stood out in a crowd. So if you're planning on lime green as an identifying factor, be sure to include ribbons, a Home Depot sonic green Mickey head, a DIS pin, or some other uniquely DIS item - cuz just lime green clothing alone isn't going to do it!

I have seen a lot of people with lime green everywhere. I think it must be back. When I was shopping for summer clothes, I saw lime green everywhere. Mostly at Kohl's, Mervyn's and Target. I saw so much lime green among the kid's summer clothes.

Honestly, if somebody approached me in WDW and asked me if I was a Dis member, I would tell them no. I prefer to keep my anonimity and would not want a picture of myself of a family member of mine being posted on a public forum.

Home Deport sells Disney paint. The colored paint chips are in the shape of Mickey Mouse heads - the all familiar Mickey ears. Many DISers have used these in various ways - laminated as luggage tags, pinned to waist pouches and back packs, etc. There are actually TWO lime green colors, one is called Sonic green, and I think the other is Alien green.

I know what you mean. When we went in November, there was lime green everywhere. I don't know how many lime green T-shirts I looked at (surreptitiously) trying to see if they were DIS members! You could've gotten a real big crick in the neck.

I'm still not sure about sporting the lime green clothing, but DH surprised me today with a stack of about 20 lime green Mickey heads from Home Depot. So, we'll have them on the backpack. I'm not so sure I will be approaching random lime green wearers in the parks, but if someone wants to stop me to say "hi" I wouldn't mind.

I never made it tothe store to get mickey heads, but I do have the official DIS water wallet. Plus, if anyone spots my T shirt from my signature,or someone in a WORLD OF MOTION t shirt, come say hi!!!

So it is the Sonic green? I grabbed some of that an aanother one close to it because I wasn't sure....pretty sure not too many random fans not associated with Dis will be donning Mickey green paint chips at WDW!!!

The Sonic Green is the most "limey". We also got a ton of the Atomic or something like that just in case. There are Mickey heads everywhere in the house as DS5 found them and decided they all needed faces

I wanted to stop at Home Depot yesterday, but Dh had other ideas. I need to get there sometime in the next 28 DAYS!!!
