I am now checking out that hotel in Marathon, FL.
I could do about a week there, easy.

How did you find it?

We found out about CocoPlum Resort on one of DizneyDawn's trip reports. You can Google CocoPlum Resort and get to their website. The prices aren't horrible, either. It just looks so relaxing.....

tons of brochures from Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg still. We love the area. It's a hard thing to decide between a trip there and a trip to Disney World actually!

We love that area too, but the first time we went was during Wilderness Wildlife Week, which the younger kids love, love, love, so we keep going down in the dead of winter. I've been there in summer, but no one else has -- hopefully we'll get there in the spring next year or 2014, and then work our way around the seasons.

There's a Turtle Hospital in Marathon I've always wanted to visit -- you can get a tour the hospital and feed a turtle.

We've usually been to the Gatlinburg area around May (our wedding anniversary is in May). It's a beautiful area.

The Turtle Hospital is one of the things I had looked at as a possible thing to visit while in Marathon. It looks so interesting.

We've made it to Disney World, and are on our very first Disney bus to Magic Kingdom!!
