A photo shoot at Disney World means a July Disney Vacation!!!! Updated 10/7

We haven't been to Disney World for over 3 years, we have in that time planned and cancelled 4 trips. We are finally planning a trip we 100% believe will not need to be cancelled We are all sooo excited to get to take a family vacation again and Christmas seems like the perfect time!!!

We had a huge change in plans DD was picked to do a July modeling shoot at Disney World so we are changing our vacation to the 1st week of July!!!!


About Us:
We are a family of 4 Me, DH, DS 14 and DD11. I am a student finishing my BA in Paralegal Studies and Business I will graduate in December!! DH is an Engineer at a steel mill. DS is in the 8th grade loves sports he plays football, basketball, wrestling and runs track. DD is in the 6th grade and plays soccer, volleyball and runs track, she is also a singer and a pageant princess.

I have booked our room/tickets package we were able to get free dining which was pretty cool!! I have not booked our airfare yet still pricing but it looks like we will be flying Southwest as they are at least 1/2 the price of all the other airlines I have looked at. I am planning on looking into ADRS and such this evening and will hopefullly have an idea on that soon.

Christmas in the Parks is the greatest time ever. Beautiful decorations, sounds and holiday spirit. We are going early in December for that very reason. Have a blast and you will!

We went for Christmas in 2009 it was a surprise trip for DD & DS, we had such a great time. DD & DS loved it, they didn't even care that we only brought vacation related presents with us and that they had to wait to get home to open the rest of their gifts. The only issue we had was Great Grandma, she was not happy we missed Christmas so hopefully she wont be too upset this year when we miss it again.

I booked our airfare we are flying southwest as it was only $1300 for 4 nonstop round trip tickets, American Airlines price was $4800 almost 4 times as much and delta was $2400 so we decided to fly southwest.

Flight to Florida
Depart: 9:35am
Arrive: 11:50am

Flight home
Depart: 6:20pm
Arrive: 8:45pm

Now I get plan our ADRS and start our itinerary.

We got a huge shock today, DD submitted her modeling portfolio for a chance to do a modeling shoot at Disney World in July, she hasnt done much modeling so we thought it was a long shot but we found out today she was chosen!!! So we are changing our vacation plans we will be at Disney world the 1st week of July. So now I have to call and change all our arrangements. But I am totally excited for DD she was so excited when I told her.

Our July trip has pretty much turned into a quick two-day trip just me, dd and DS. But we did just book a trip for December 2014. So excited.
