After all the excitement of yesterday we had a nice lie in, followed with our usual coffee on the balcony. For breakfast we went to the Caribbean Beach Resort, as it's one of the few resorts I haven't seen yet and I wanted to have look round. It looked very nice, the food court was nicely themed and breakfast was pretty good. We ate outside on the terrace surrounded by various types of birds looking for handouts. After that we took a quick stroll around the pool and then walked by the lake back to our car. The landscaping & flowers everywhere were gorgeous and it had a very relaxed feel.
Then on to our usual shopping address: Premium Outlets. We are creatures of habit and not really that much into shopping but DH always likes getting clothes, the prices are good and stuff is a bit more colourful than over here and I like having a look at the Character Warehouse for Disney Stuff. This time the selection at the CW was a bit disappointing, it seemed to be not as good quality as the stuff in the parks. DH did get quite a bit of stuff and I treated myself at the Cosmetic Company. We grabbed a coffee at Starbucks and some Sushi from the food court - totally strange combination I know - before heading back.
At the BW we grabbed some snacks and went to relax at the quiet pool as the main one was very full, the quiet one was also full! I found a baby bird that had drowned itself and went in to tell someone. After that 4 !! people came out to look for this bird and take it away.. such excitement!!
About 17.30 we headed out to Animal Kingdom, and spotted our first wildlife at the bus stop: a bunny!! He/She was very cute.
At AK we picked up our wristband and headed off to Asia, to check out the Tigers as the animal exhibits would be closing for the night. And indeed we saw the tigers for 2 minutes and then they went in for the evening.. oh well, try again later. EE as we didn't get round to riding it yesterday, the wait was posted at 20 minutes so we got in line, in actual fact the wait was closer to 10 which was good as DH didn't get to hyped. We boarded the train and were off to meet the yeti. It was a pity there had been so much build up, cause we both came off not quite sure if we liked it or not. It was fun.. but just not E-ride fun as we had been led to believe. We felt that just as it was getting good, it was over. Still as this was a first ride we gave it the benefit of the doubt. The yeti was cool though and they had some nice stuff in the shop
We decided to go to the last Lion King show and get some dinner first so we headed towards Pizzafari, didn't get a pizza but a grilled sandwhich that was pretty good. After that we headed towards the Lion King Theatre. On the left hand side of the bridge there was a tree absolutely full of the local birds!
After roaring like Simba we took ourselves off to Dinoland where we had a quick go on Primeval Whirl, which is pretty scary in the dark! I find it helps on this ride if you really get in to it and scream at each corner, don't think the others in our car were too happy about this
We then went to give EE another try and both agreed it was excellent in the dark! By now it was nearing the end of the EMH and the park was emptying out, we had a quick stop at ITTBAB and strolled around the Tree of Live, which was looking great in the spotlights and then made our way out of the park, back to the BW and sleep.
