OK, back to the review....

After lunch our next stop was Nemo!!!

By the time we were done with Nemo, we were well into our last FastPass time of 1:15 - 2:15 so we made our way there.....

This gives you an idea of some of the lines for "quick" food service



There was one more thing we wanted to do in the park so we headed towards it.....



And we knew we had to wait in line for it.....good news is they take a lot of people all at once. We arrived about 30 minutes before the show and were in a very long line. We were not sure we would get in for this show....but we did

At this point it was around 3:30 and we had done all we had hoped to in AK so we decided to head back to the resort to relax a little before we headed to dinner...







We were about as far away as you could be in Building 8. It was an 8-10 minute walk at a decent pace to get to the main building (Animation Hall) and the bus stops

After a few hours down time, it was time to head to the boardwalk. Given the difficulty to get from a resort to the Boardwalk area, we decided to grab an Uber. Within 5 minutes we were on our way and the $8 was well worth it!

It was time for our 7:20 ADR....for some reason I didn't take many photos. The food was very good and the service was better. This was the one restaurant I had booked that I was unsure of and they delivered. We all had a great night!

After dinner it was raining so we headed inside the resort to check it out and see the decorations......

We decided to take the boat launch to Hollywood Studios and then grab a bus back to the resort. And so ends our first full day back at Disney!!

My family loved Art of Animation, but we were in a family suite in Building 5. Next trip we are thinking to go back but in a Little Mermaid room. I wonder if being farther away would change our opinion. We did walk up around those buildings and they didn't seem too bad for walking, no worse than the moderates we've been to.

Hey Jeff, yes it was manageable....it just seemed much further after a long day in the parks The suites did not work for us....given the age and size of my kids I knew we needed 2 rooms.

Hi Jerry! Great start to the report WE are travelling Dec 31 this year to Jan 9th. Looking forward to reading trip reports over that time from this year/2017 . I just happen to also be a Canadian joining in! Located just outside Ottawa, but originally from Toronto
