A passport TODAY, a down day you say, and lots of photos Eh!!! - A New Year's TR!!

By now our second FastPass window was a few minutes away from opening up between 11:30 - 12:30. We made our way through the crowds....

And ended up here.....the regular line was now showing a 100+ minute wait. We were on the ride in approx 10 minutes.

I wish I was Canadian....

Great shots, where were you sitting on the Safari? Back row? Left/right side? Off now to finish reading.

Hi Kate. Apparently there have been lots of inquiries with Canadian immigration recently for some reason......

Glad you are enjoying the photos. I was first on for our row on the safari however at the last minute the folks beside us moved back a row to join friends so we were able to have an entire row to just my wife and I. This allowed me to move from side to side frequently which certainly helped with some of the angles. Thanks for stopping by!!

After Dinosaur, we wandered a bit.....

By now we were ready for lunch and we headed here....

For some reason I did not take any photos during lunch. Here is one of part of the seating area from our last trip....the tables were a little busier this trip!

And here is our view as we ate....

OK, time for a bit of a flashback. On our trip in 1998, our daughter E met Tigger and he instantly became her favorite character. Here she is from that visit.....

Well, on our last visit in 2013, we had the opportunity to recreate that same picture 15 years later......

She had really wanted to meet up with Tigger again this trip but it never happened so I just had to put these in here. There is another photo we did recreate this trip but we will get to that when we visit Epcot. Now back to the review.....

Following and loving the throwback and recreation picture! Was thinking about doing that myself as a gift picture for my dad

I really like Flame Tree BBQ myself. What a great view you had while you ate. It was interesting to see the new seating for River's Of Light (at least that's what I think it's called).

Hi Nat. Yes we are also Flame Tree BBQ fans! Hopefully they can get the evening show at AK running nightly soon! Thanks for following my review and there is lots more to come.....

Hi Stuart, thank you for your kind comments. Yes I remember the anticipation of sending in film, waiting to pick them up, and then opening the photo sleeve only to find the ones you really wanted didn't turn out so well....after you had paid for them all :) And yes I do tend to take lots of photos with some repeats just to ensure some turnout OK. I know a few folks who are still using film today and I suppose there is still a place for it but I would rather know in the moment that I captured the shot, or at least have the opportunity to take it again. Thanks for following along with my review!
