A park and MNSSHP in the same day?

While planning, I just keep coming back to the MNSSHP. Originally, I had wanted to just wait and do it the next time we go. But, DH and I love Halloween so much that it's hard to think about passing up this opportunity to experience such a wonderful party with our babies.

So, I'm wondering this - if we do MK that day, go back to the room for a nap/downtime/dinner, do you think it would be crazy for us to try to do a couple of hours at MNSSHP that evening?

We are planning on doing 1 1/2 (we have hoppers) or 2 days at MK.

Any advice would be appreciated.

I also had originally planned on skipping the party. I thought the kids would maybe be a little young for it (they're 5,5,almost 4). Plus it was expensive to buy tickets for the 5 of us. So--thinking we wouldn't go to the party--I went ahead and booked reservations at BBB at 8:00 a.m. that morning! I also got ADR's for the Mary Poppins breakfast at 10:30.

About a week ago, I started reading the threads about the Halloween party--and it looked like so much fun! And we have no idea when/if we'll ever be back to WDW again. So, we splurged and bought the tickets. We plan on taking a long break after our character breakfast; I'm hoping since the kids were up so early that morning they'll actually nap!

One thing, you guys won't have to buy tickets for the little ones. So, even if you go and they're ready to crash by 9:00, you'll just be "wasting" the adult tickets.
