I went to a paper arts festival this morning, put on by Heirloom Pro. As people on here forewarned me, it was primarily for rubber stamping, but there was a little bit of scrapbook stuff. I got some cool animal brads that will be great for scrapping Animal Kingdom. I also got lighthouse and adirondack chair brads for the Yacht Club part of the trip. I bought a 6 pack of summer vacation ribbon that will work well for the trip, too, as well as other summer activities. I did buy a few tiny rubber stamps that say Happy Birthday, Thanks, Love, Laugh, and some tiny plastic tags to stamp on that will make cute embellishments for both scrapbook pages and cards (which I want to get into a little bit).
Next stop was Michael's. This is my first time there since the Martha Stewart stuff arrived. All I can say about that 18 x 18 book is HOLY COW! Somebody on here said it isn't a coffee table book, it's a coffee table...and they were spot on! I did like her bandana paper but I didn't buy any of it.
Last stop was AC Moore. I picked up a few odds and ends, nothing exciting, but I have to say that the revamped scrapbook section is great. I found the rub on transfers that are glue that you use with glitter, which I've wanted to try ever since I saw them on QVC earlier this month.
Now I have to go use some of this stuff
