A pain in my back, my foot, and my you know what!! A Sept 2012 TR! CRT Review! 1/18

Cinderella's Royal Table

Our first night in the World we had an ADR at CRT. princess: The reservation was at 8:10 and we arrived around 7:45 to check in. Everyone is taken into a bottom room where you wait to get your picture taken with Cinderella. By this time we we're all getting pretty tired, because in case you've forgotten, we left Georgia at 5 in the morning, and Matt in particular got 30 minutes of sleep!! :rolleyes2

So, we wait for Cindy to show up, and after about 10 minutes or so she walks in. They calls parties up one at a time and they get their pictures with her. After they take your picture.. which I don't have scanned, sorry, :sad1: they then take you upstairs to be seated!

It's really pretty nice up stairs but not particularly large, I can see why it always fills up so fast. I was so wishing for a window seat, which there are only a few of, and the whole time they were walking us through the restaurant I was holding my breath! When the host sat us at the back of the castle RIGHT in front of the window I was speechless! We could not have had a better table considering Wishes would be at 9! pixiedust:

If you're not familiar with the menu, you get an appetizer, entree, and dessert. Your photo package with Cinderella is also included with the meal and they deliver it to you while you eat!

Here's what everyone ordered:

Me:
Appetizer- Rock Shrimp Cocktail
Entree- Grilled Chicken Pasta
Dessert- Dessert Trio

Matt:
Appetizer- Rock Shrimp Cocktail
Entree- Slow Roasted Pork Tenderloin
Dessert- Dessert Trio

Mom:
Appetizer- Castle Salad
Entree- Roasted Beef Tenderloin
Dessert- Dessert Trio

Dad:
Appetizer- Rock Shrimp Cocktail
Entree- Grilled Swordfish
Dessert- Seasonal Sorbet

We all had different entrees! The shrimp was good the but cocktail was a little interesting as it was filled with corn! Not bad.. just interesting. I really liked the pasta though, very flavorful! I tried everything but the swordfish, but my dad said it was really good. The beef was very good, and so was the pork!

Just about the time our dessert showed up, Wishes started!!! We could see the whole show right out our window! It was like the perfect ending to our night! They dimmed the lights and piped in the music! So magical. However... by this time, Matt's no sleep was catching up with him and he was getting grouchy and hardly ate any of his food. What at waste of 2 dining credits! I mean, how can you be having a bad time... we're in Cinderella's Castle and Wishes is going on outside the window!! Oh well! I tortured him by making him take a picture with Snow White and then we wrapped up our first night in Walt Disney World!!

Each "Girl" got a wand, and each "Boy" a sword! :rotfl:

Sorry no food pictures, I knew Matt wouldn't want me taking pictures of food this whole trip so I didn't! Sorry in advance!
