I hope it is allowed. I am NOT affiliated to this park so just sharing out of personal experience.
I cruised again out of FlL two weeks ago and due to flightprices I had two days to kill before my cruise. Sawgrass outlet mills is a no brainer for me and my other day I went to AnimalEDventures in Boynton Beach.
I booked the vip package that included feedibg a bottle to kangeroos, holdibg a joey, feedibg different animals and close to half an our playing with otters. We were 9 people on our tour but i think there were close to 10 otters and they made sure everyone got their personal play time. At the end you ciuld hold one of the otters. The tour also included a stroke a sloth moment.
I added holding the sloth on a pillow and playtime with the spidermonkeys in their playroom. They let me hold the sloth for 4 minutes. The spidermonkeys were fun but dont expect to hold these crazy guys. You get fruit to give to them though.
Bezr in mind you got to book ahead and this is a private property so no restaurants or possibility to hang iut before or after your tour.
I ubered out of fll and that was about 40 dollars each way and took under an hour.
I had never heard of this place and stumbled upon it when I was looking for sloth programs around the world…. And then found out it was so close to fll.
This is a family owned sanctuary and they follow the pace of the animals when it comes to interaction. I got to hold the sloth for 4 min bit the other minute was just a little over.2 min and then slowphia made it clear she was done. Same for the otters: some held Junior for a minute, others just for 10 sec til he was done.
There are no photographers and you can take all the videos and pics you like! Staff was very kind and accomodating
Be aware you need to wear long pants and closed shoes… and your clothes may get dirty with those crazy otters beong their adhd selves.
