Hubby Fred & I decided to go to pin trading at the Character Premiere outlet in ST. Augustine tonight. I am so glad we did.
I have met some wonderful people there the last 3 weeks, and had alot of fun trading pins. Up until tonight all my trading has been to help others get pins they needed or wanted for the most part. Which of course is always fun. I was thrilled last week to trade for some of the brand new LS Pooh pins. I was so thrilled I gave the girls 4 LE nice pins for them. Crazy I know, but I was so happy to see and get them I didn't care.
So tonight, we had fun playing games, and then just before 8PM we all started looking and trading. At the very end, a sweet girl that I traded the LS pins for last week, asked to look at my pins again. And I looked at hers. I just about dropped my jaw when I saw a particular pin she had in her book. Her mom came up just then. I asked her where she got it and she said it was off a CM lanyard and she thought it was neat because it had Walt on it. But it wasn't something she collected so she was trading it. I told her what kind of pin she had and how nice it was. I also told her that I had been trying to trade for it for 2 years with no luck.
So I told her to pick out anything she wanted. She picked out a nice DCL LE 750 pin, I said what else, and she picked out a nice LE Olympic pin. And then she said she was happy. I said are you sure, and I again told mom about the pin and asked if she was ok with it. She said yes and was glad it was going to someone who would appreciate it. Indeed I do!!
Here is the pin:www.pinpics.com/cgi-bin/p...53&act=tao
