Creating my first newsletter to send out to my guests after I book the wedding in a couple weeks. Looking for suggestions of what to include:
I have included ceremony date and time, what people should be thinking about over the summer(mostly where do they want to stay and how are they going to get there) as well as three choices of hotels that we think are best(one from each category) with little descriptions and pictures. Is there anything I am not covering? Considering of course that I am giving this to them a year before the wedding. I wanted to keep it simple just enough to let them know that they need to think about booking a room by the time that rates come out in september.
My fiance's family seems a bit confused by it all and I just want to make them feel comfortable.

When I received my wedding packet from FTW, included was a brochure on the most popular restraunts to make PS's at. You may want to include that in your newsletter for your guests. They may not know that it is suggested to make PS's at some restraunts and dinner shows. You wouldn't want your guests to be dissapointed because they were not able to eat where they wanted to or see a certain show that they thought that they could.
Also, you may want to included other things to do that would require a reservation way in advance like playing golf or a spa treatment.
If any of your guests are bringing children you may want to include places where child care is available.

I know this is a lot of info to include, but people who have never been to Disney before may not know that they have all these other options of things to do other than just the parks. This way they can plan ahead! Good luck on the newsletter!

i'm doing a newsletter too, 3 newsletters to be exact. the first one i am going to detail our wedding events (like a basic day planner our welcome dinner, free days, ceremony & reception info.) and resort details (we're paying for our guest accomodations so resort info. is the same for everyone) it will have checkin info, dining & kids activities for at the hotel. the 2nd newsletter we're mailing later is what to do at wdw with our favorite rides, restaurants (with general menu & pricing) & tips for kids and romance. and the third newsletter we're detailing airline info & transportation (like phone#'s, group codes & rates) and general questions & answers (like what to pack, what if you need a prescription) we also have a wedding website where our guests can search & look at wedding info & wdw. i think a newsletter is an invaluable tool so everyone has a better idea & less ?'s about your big day and their stay.

best of luck!

One other thing I have decided to do is sign everyone up for a free trip planning package. They are thankful for this especially the ones that do not have internet at home.
