A little half pound off for me today. Not a huge amount, but have you ever held half a pound of fat???? I did today, so I'm chuffed with that.

Well done! Once you hold how much you've lost you realise how much it is and how well you are doing xx

Well done everyone - we're all doing great :thumbsup2

2lb off for me this week :cool1: Nearly at my next half stone mark, just 2.5 to go. Hope I get this over the next couple of weeks.

Keep going folks, it's so worth it when you start fitting into smaller clothes sizes. :goodvibes

Disappointed to say the least. First week on WW on stayed the same. Was so good as well.

Ww is strange - I do it and love it, but sometimes, if you don't eat enough you won't lose. Make sure you are getting enough food and see if that helps.

Well done everyone :)

A pound off for me this week. I've got 8.5 to get to the target but a few people are saying that I shouldn't lose anymore....I'm not entirely happy though.

I've checked my weight against the NHS height/weight chart and I'm just at the top of the 'healthy weight' range. I've also checked my BMI and again, just inside the healthy range, 24.92 - so I think I have a wee bit to go yet.

I'm 5ft 5in and a size 12 for the first time in years.

What target everyone else working to?

PLEASE only use the nhs chart as a guide. I work as a district nurse and we calculate using a tool called MUST. This is more to assess under and very obese people. It also depends ion your build any co morbidity's etc. if your bmi is 24.92 that is more than acceptable. Anything between 20-25 is good.
You have done really well to lose weight and like most of us we do it for ourselves and to feel better health wise. I personally think the bmi is inaccurate and not realistic. Mine is 29 so im classed as obese. Im 5ft 9 very broad shouldered and weigh 90kg. My target is 80kg because any lower and I look gaunt.
Its more to do with health reasons and lowering the risks of getting high cholesterol heart disease etc.
Anyway off my soap box now.
I lost 4lb at WW this week :) lost nothing my first week but this made up for it. Iv also lost 2" off my bumbum and 1" off my waist. Yeah WW works for me.

A one pound gain for me this week. I'm not at all upset by it, in fact, I'm very happy about it. I've been on a long weekend to celebrate my sisters 50th birthday - 17 of us so you can imagine the eating and drinking going on! Two days later it was my birthday, out for dinner. Two days after that I went to a school reunion and I think I ate a lot of Indian food, but to be honest, I'd had so much to drink I really can't remember. On top of all that I've been up to Manchester and sorting out my Mum with carers as she fell and broke her pelvis.

So, I'll take a 1lb gain this time and work my socks off to get rid of it for next week!

Pam

Well done Crabbie on your loss and thanks for the advice. Think I'll keep going for a while.

I haven't weighed this week, been away for the night celebrating my 20 th wedding anniversary so some bug meals....out tonight too so will get back to it tomorrow.

I guess I'm not the only one to have lost the plot these last two weeks!?

I've gained 1 1/2 lbs over the last two weeks and really need to get back on plan. Any ideas, fellow dieters?

I'm going to a wedding on Long Island in 5 weeks and would love to lose 5lb before I got. I just need to get my head back into the zone.

Pam

I managed to fail big time :( with 2 failed work interviews and a rather poorly horse I've been taking comfort in all the wrong food items (warm lardie cake from the bakery on Saturday morning anyone?)
I'm now under 3 weeks from my trip to DLRP and wasn't going to worry about my weight until I came back, but I stood in the scales on Monday and scared myself into doing something! I'm glad I did that as it would have just got worse. I'm calling it damage limitation as I will eat what I want while I'm away (it's my birthday after all!) I'm now on day 4 of Slimming World (I just do it at home) and enjoying filling myself with fruit and veg, yum!

How are others getting on? Please don't give up like me!

It's their loss if they didn't hire you, their failure not yours!

Good luck with the SW plan and I'm with you all the way. We shall NOT give up but keep fighting for what we want!
