A New Look??

I thought that I read some where that they are giving "The Castle" a new look. I really hope that it is NOT like 25th. the birthday cake look. Does any one have any info as to what I will be seeing September 17-23? Thanks

From my understanding, all they are doing is removing the gold items, restoring the castle back to its original look. Depending on how long it takes, you might see a half & half castle or they could be completely done by that time.

I haven't heard of them doing anything new to it---I've heard enough complaints about the gold & the mirror myself that I'd imagine WDW has probably heard much more than I have! Personally I liked the gold (the mirror though, not so much) but people don't like seeing the castle messed with at all.

I think they are simply reverting the castle back to its classic design, though I personally like the gold, including the mirror, better.
