Ok, so we left our room and walked to Epcot. Ahhh, our first walk to Epcot...this is what we've been waiting so long for! I even said to DH, "enjoy this very moment...the beginning of our vacation!" He smiled and said "yes, your right!" Upon entering Epcot, we both noticed right away how crowded it was. Eeek! Is this how the rest of the week was going to be?? We'll see I guess!
We had some time to kill, so we went over to the new Seas with Nemo ride. 25 minute wait!

We waited anyway. Cute new ride, I liked it! Very well done. Loved the seagulls out front...mine, mine, mine. Love it!
I snapped some photos while in line for Nemo...
We then headed over to Spaceship Earth, but the line was way to long...something like 40 minutes! We didn't have time for that, so we headed over to Mexico for our 6pm ADR. The Mexico ride line looked decent, so we did that first. It was OK, I kind of miss the old ride, but it was OK I guess! I know the old ride was very 70's, with the hot tub scene and all, but come on...it was the best! And we also missed the old song that used to be played thoughout the ride

However, I did think the Donald Duck additions were very cute.
It was now time to check in for our ADR's. We got a beeper and decided to walk around the gift area. We noticed that there were big bins everywhere with bags of Tostito brand chips in them for sale. Hmmm, what was this about? For a moment I thought, have they changed the type of chips they give you in the restaurant? No way, that would be the dumbest thing they could ever do. Now, you have to understand, DH and I LOVE Mexican food, and it ALL starts with what type of chips and salsa they give you...we are very picky and snobby about our Mexican food.
Our buzzer buzzed in no time, and we were off to our seats. A nice table very close to the water...sweet! Our waiter came and brought us our free chips and salsa

Tostito Brand chips!!! How could they!!?? For those of you who don't remember their old chips, they were freshly made, warm out of the oven, and DELICIOUS! Tostito Chips? We couldn't believe it. Why does everything have to be sponsored these days?? What a bummer. I soon had to get over it, and ordered my favorite...A margarita, mmmmmm. DH got one too. You can also see my DH holding up a crappy chip in the background.
We ordered our food, I got the Pollo A Las Rajas - grilled chicken breast served over red peppers, onions, chile poblano, chorizo and melted cheese. It's what I always get, and I loved it! I can't find the exact name of what DH got, but it was a steak with 2 taco things on the side. It may have been a special that night, I cannot find it on allearsnet. Anyways, he liked his meal too. We both also got a second margarita!
Here is a picture of my plate. I apologize, I took a couple bites before I remembered to take the picture! Oops, I'm new at this!!
After our meal, we headed to Norway to check out the ride. Again, line was very long but we decided to try it out. After about 5 minutes of standing in line, we realized the line wasn't moving, at all. We decided to ditch that and look around in the gift shop. We saw the most expensive sweater in all of Disney..the $395 sweater! Has anyone actually bought one of these??
And of course we had to get this picture...
After that we headed over to China. There was some sort of private party going on, and we couldn't go through the front entrance! We were very confused at first, but then realized we could go around to the exit and enter the movie from there. We liked the updated movie. After looking in the china gift shop, we headed to Germany where we saw this...
The $37,500 castle! Whow! Maybe someday, if we ever hit the lottery...
After that, while walking past America, a cover band was playing in the outdoor theatre. They were pretty good! They were singing Daydream Believer, and DH and I had to stop and listen...DH loves that song!!
We then headed to France, where DH decided to get the Kroninberg Beer, and I decided to get the Lemon version of the Grand Marnier Orange Slush. They were both excellent!
At this point we both realized how incredibly cold out it was!!

Brrr! We started to walk toward the exit and made our way back to the room. On the way, DH got a peanut butter caramel cup at the Sweet Shop Bakery on the Boardwalk. He shared it with me, it was delicious!
We were both very tired and went to bed at 10:30.
Tomorrow we will be heading to the Animal Kingdom in the morning!
