Really enjoyed your trip - sounds like it was full of good fun and good friends! Hope you are staying warm today. Don't know what it's like where you are, but it's cold and windy here - and a friend of mine further north than you is plowed in and can't get out. I figure you are somewhere in between so it's gotta be snowy and cold.

Thank you, Tanya. We didn't have much snow yesterday at all that fell from the sky. But the stuff already on the ground was blown all over our driveway and we had to shovel it a couple of times. And it is below zero temperatures with the windchill at night.

I have really enjoyed following along and getting to enjoy your trip with you I look forward to future trips and reports!!

Nope...no dates yet. I'm hoping Nicki will have them early in January so I can start planning. I may book something and hopefully will be able to change it if their dates are off by a day or two...only because of "my surprise" and I don't want to miss out on it.

Sorry I haven't finished this thing up with my final thoughts. It's been a busy week at work. And today is a sad day in my heart and the hearts of thousands and thousands of Chicagoans and baseball fans. We lost #10 today, Ron Santo. A true gentleman in every sense of the word, a true baseball man who had a love for our luvable loser Cubs that could not be matched and a man who went through so much in his life with diabetes and other illnesses. Mr. Santo, you may not have been elected to the Hall of Fame, but you are and always will be a Hall of Famer in our hearts. We will miss you. Rest in Peace.

He will be missed in Chicago and in baseball. I can also sympathize with you for being a long suffering Cubs fan, I myself am a long suffering Indians fan. And we also lost a great one last week here in N.E. Ohio with the passing of Bob Feller.
