What a beautiful island. Glad that Pablo decided to show up. How great that you had your own driver to show you really cool stuff. Love it!

It was a really nice day, I'm very glad Pablo showed up. Not too sure what we would have done otherwise.

Too bad your hired tour guard stunk and that he actually wanted to get paid for that. What a rip! You actually had to pay to get ride of him. Oh brother.

It's quite comical now but my goodness it was awful.

What are your dates again? I'd love to come down for a day or two. Won't be able to do more only because we can't take off December 15-January 15, but I'll be able to finangle a few days.

I haven't booked our flights yet, but i'm hoping to fly in late afternoon Friday, January 2 and leave on an afternoon flight on Friday, January 9.

Sounds like a great day so far. Folks down there are a little more "relaxed" and meeting times are often a guideline, so I figured he would show up eventually.

The ruins look interesting, I've never really seen any before so I'm sure I'd find them fascinating. The bull was cool I would have taken a picture too. I'm done with camping, no way I'd stay at that hotel. The roughest I'd get was PIO's glamping.

Am I confusing reports? The seafood buffet looked awesome!

I can't believe that hotel did not have electricity! It looked like there's no water in the pool either, I imagine since there's not electricity for the pool filter.

I also can't believe the bull just stays still! He seemed very well taken care of.

HECK NO I don't mind! I even told DH that you were thinking about it and he thought that would be really cool! I just don't want you to have to stress about getting down there if you can't do it.

You're so rught and that's what we figured. He was running on 'Mexico' time. I'm glad he came when he did and everything worked out.

I was subjected to enough camping as a kid, I never need to do it again. Ever.

The seafood buffet was on Jenny's TR. I never saw one on the Fantasy but a lot of times they had a seafood area set up, just not the whole buffet.

Nope, no water in the pool. It was a sad looking pool.

The bull was happy in the sun apparently. He was very cool.

I should have just gotten the pamphlet and been our tour guide. That would have been a lot better.

Pam do they do those headphone type tours you can hire there? I like them they do those at Harry Potter world in London and various other places in the UK. It's a recording that tells you about the artefacts etc and you press a number for where you are on the tour.

Not at this place, it is quite rural. I've heard they're quite nice though.

Probably because lots of people take off around New Years. I looked and the flight going down is good but coming back is outrageous!

Welcome! And thanks for reading!!! you're right, plenty left, this was an 11 day trip. I was blessed with a wonderful mother, I'm glad we're able to spend quality vacation time together

Beautiful pics of Cozumel!!! The water is absolutely gorgeous! And the ruins look quite interesting. I'm wondering if this is an excursion I should look into Not sure if my DD8 and DS7 would be interested though. Guess I should get researching
