Let's give a moment of silence to residential street. You amused me well my dear friend. Demolition of classic television homes, my favorite being home to those four old ladies, Rose, Blache, Dorthy, and Sofia, The Golden Girls. Residential Street was the home to a lot of television favorites. They are ripping down classics. This attraction has never been given the respect it deserves. To get to Residential Street, you have to take the Backlot Tour on Mickey Avenue.

I couldn't find pictures of the street itself. Good-Bye Residential Street. Maybe there's a chance that a miricle will save you
The latest twist to this project is that it now looks very likely that today and Saturday will be the last days for Residential Street, with demolition commencing on Monday in preparation for the new Motors Stunt Show. There is still no official announcement from Disney on this project, and the status of the Osborne Lights remains unknown.

I always enjoyed that part of the ride. I wonder what Motors stunk show is....

I think I heard the Motor Stunts Show is being based on the show at Disney Studios Paris. I've never seen it myself, but it's supposed to be a top class :)

Does that mean the whole ride is leaving or just that street part?

How sad!

Last I read was they were going to keep the street for this year's Osborne Lights, and then demolish it, moving the OL to the New York Street starting next year. I'll miss it too.

I'll take that back, Lizzie, I went and read on www.wdwmagic.com what you have there and they are pretty good with the info. I was reading what they had a few days ago. Should be interesting.

There is a huge thread on the theme parks board saying that the Osborne Lights aren't running this year but will be on NY Street next year--I didn't think NY street was big enough for 5 million lights!

My thoughts exactly, Robin. OL just won't be the same without Residential Street. :(

We saw the Osborne Lights for the first time last Dec. I agree, it won't be the same without the residential area. :(

And I was hoping to see those lights this year. :(
