A Moment of Silence for the Toasted Almond Ice Cream Bar

I happened to see the current ones in the grocery store, and though we lost Almond, we apparently gained "Super Hero" and "Unicorn Sparkle" flavors:

For those commenting about ice cream truck sales, I have seen Good Humor products in stores for decades. According to the below, they gave the trucks up in 1976 to focus on store sales, so they must have been in stores since at least that year:

Good Humor sold its fleet of vehicles in 1976 to focus on selling in grocery stores. Some of the trucks were purchased by ice cream distributors and others were sold to individuals. The trucks sold for $1,000 - $3,000 each.

Those are made by Friendly’s, and are relatively new. They are knockoffs of the original Good Humor bars. Supermarkets near me carry both brands. Toasted Almond was always a Good Humor product.

Good Humor also has some new varieties, including Reese’s peanut butter and Pop Tarts brown sugar cinnamon. (I’ve never tried the Friendly’s bars, but love their ice cream.)
