A miracle happened tonight!

I was a brave woman tonight. I realize that in Oct. I’ll be staying at a hotel with an indoor pool and a whirlpool. Since I will be staying by myself I figured this might be a good time for me to go sit and relax in the pool or whirlpool for a while. I also in the back of my mind thought that I have a small chance of wearing my bathing suit in December at WDW. So I dug out my suit and tried it on… it didn’t really fit It was too big So I got my jeans back on and nonchalantly said to my husband that I was “Going out somewhere” Kissed him on the cheek and left for the closest mall.

I walked into the department store and went to the tiny bathing suit collection they had left. Good thing was they were all on clearance. They were marked down 50% and then on top of that there was a sale going on where all clearance was 25% off. I rummaged through the racks and found about six different tankinis to try on. Since I am short, I always have trouble finding straps that aren’t too long and make me feel like the top will slide down too much or something. So half had that problem and the other half had the problem where the elastic was too tight and well, it just wasn’t flattering for my tummy. I was about to give up hope when I tried the last tankini on. I went with the bottoms first… they fit I tried the top on next and it fit I looked at the price and figured that it would be just over $25 The bonus was when they rang it up, it was only $23 with tax

I truly believe I witnessed a miracle tonight

LOL, that's great Elaine! I had a miracle in the bathing suit dept. this year too. The second one I tried on was perfect!

I didn't really mind *gasp* shopping for bathing suits this year, LOL. Old Navy had bikinis that fit me and were inexpensive and cute. I ended up with 3 by the end of the season, but only wore one once all summer, LOL. I bought two early in the seasn and then saw the third later in the season and it was on clearance and was my favorite yet, so I couldn't pass it up, hehe.

Hey Kim, with your figure you'll be able to find a hundred swimsuits to fit you. You don't have any of those unsightly bulges or imperfections that some of us have


You'll just walk in, find a hunderd & try them all on & every one will fit like a glove.............wish I could say the same for myself. I detest shopping for a swimsuit as the stuff that fits is what old ladies wear & the stuff I like just won't make it around my unsighlty bulges

Gotta get some of these bulges off..................easier said than done tho........I'm sure most of you would agree there................c'mon admit it........how many of us are the perfect figure
