A MAGICAL Columbus Day Cruise Texas style 10/6/2012

Where will you be set up? According my family, I am a Texan who is great at making noise!

How fun to be broadcasting from the ship. My mom-in-law worked for a small radio station in Uvalde. We would "help" her while on vacations at the ranch in New Mexico.

There are several radio stations that will be broadcasting...they have us set up on Deck 9 Forward, Port side...I'll be there in the morning!

Am I the ONLY one having trouble with the suitcase situation? I've been told I was a "bad packer" by friends, but I think I'm a really GOOD packer! In fact, if you need extra sunscreen, bandaids, advil, germ-x, clorox wipes, shoes (I'm bringing 7 pairs), nail polish then I'M YOUR GIRL! My poor husband!

I'm useless at work today. Can't wait to get out of here. Heading to Houston at 5 to pick up my parents at the airport then to Galveston. Leah got a call from Goofy last night, she's sooo excited.

When we were packing last night my husband said that now he knows why they packed trunks for the Titanic. Our car is full with luggage!

I think trunks are a fabulous idea! If they only had rollers. I think I'll be okay. I packed MOST of our main stuff in one big back. DH is bringing 4 pairs of shoes, himself, so he can't complain much! Our bathroom stuff is in one, shoes & extras in the 3rd bag. Then I have bag #4 for miscellaneous stuff. Yaaaa! But it's usually all the miscellaneous stuff that gets me in trouble.

Ok im odd I just dont get excited about trips. BUT Im actually getting excited. I pick up the kids in an hour the car is loaded and I'm getting excited. This is going to be cool, man I may be a closet cruiser

We had a WONDERFUL time & loved meeting so many great Disney fans. The couples we were seated with are now good friends, and I'm so thankful to have met them. Strawberry (Bennett), Debbie, & Neno in the dining rooms were awesome! They love their jobs & you can tell.

As two adult travelers taking an anniversary trip on a Disney cruise, we were a bit apprehensive about how "romantic" and relaxing it would be. Wow, it was peaceful & serene, and everyone was well-behaved.

THIS has been the best trip ever, and we are officially ADDICTED!! We are driving home now (sniff, sniff) but thankfully we'll be back on the same boat in two weeks WITH kids. We felt a little guilty coming without them, but we are happy to know the layout of the ship, and the ins & outs. They will have a blast!

Now it's back to the real world of cooking, cleaning, & laundry......

I love all the FE gifts we were given!
However, my favorite part was FEing and running! After I got busted dropping off a few bags, it became a challenge to not get caught in the act. Also, I loved catching people at our door, too. It was so much fun
I also have to apologize to the first couple of doors we did because our son would knock, yell "fish extender" and run away. That is not very stealthy!

Our FE pockets were so full one night that I joked that the pockets looked ten months pregnant!
