A lot of upgrades happening from OKW studios

I'm on many Facebook groups to do with Disney, as I'm sure we all are lol!
Anyway, I've noticed loads of people saying they're being upgraded from OKW studios to one bed villas - mainly at SSR. The ones I know of are all cash bookings, but still thought it was interesting.
These upgrades seem to be being offered mainly in August from what I can see.
Presumably it's to do with the refurbishment.

You are kidding, right? I'm at OKW right now and it doesn't look like a construction zone.

You're referring to only cash Res. though? Because Im staying there at the end of July and I haven't heard a thing.

Bldg 14, 18, 35, 38 are this category. Bldg 14 is in the near HH category.

Yes. I’m seeing it on UK Facebook pages, and everyone it’s happened to has been a cash booking.

LoL...Figures....This may be some cause for concern, for us staying here though, I'm guessing.

Upgrading cash guests, especially from the UK, is not unusual even without construction issues. Guests from the UK generally stay longer than AMerican guests, and Disney upgrades the cash guests as a sales tool.
