A lot of cancel and rebooks turns into dream acommodations

We were originally set to go in March, but that got moved to June which got moved again to Aug. We just decided that the restrictions and such are just not going to be fun for the kids so we ended up just cancelling that trip all together. However, we also already had an adults only trip with friends (who are also DVC members) in Oct. As of right now we combined forces and we are booked for 3 nights in a cabin at CC and 2 nights in a bungalow at the Polynesian. With those accommodations we are not at all worried about what the parks will be like in Oct (though we do hope for at least fireworks to return). The kids are very understanding and knew from March they may not get to go this year. So adults only it is with hopefully some F&W and maybe a Halloween party. But, who cares!?!

We stayed in the Cabins in December. They are lovely. Nothing nicer than sitting in the hot tub w the Disney music serenading you. I'm really envious about your stay in the Bungalows, too. Never been able to pull the trigger for that splurge, but it looks fantastic.

We are doing the same thing! A’ulani trip for June cancelled, so adult trip planned for Labor Day weekend got upgraded to the CC cabins! Hopefully, the restrictions are reduced a bit by the time we get there, but we are good with mostly resort time and enjoying our accommodations.

Congrats on your adult only trip. I hope by October things will be easy and/or Disney will have all protocols worked out. That Covid-19 does not have a surge in fall.

I just book 6 nights in November for DH and me. We have 3 nights booked at Rivera Resort. I can not wait to stay there, so that will make the trip special.

I just told my college age sons about the trip, they were okay with it. I told them I had plans for next August for the whole family at VB and WDW.
