A question for you experts.

Tuesday I have planned for us to be in the Magic Kindom. We also have Cirque tickets that night.

Best way to get from the MK to Downtown?

Our performance is at 6 pm. When would we leave the MK to make it on time?

There are a numerous ways using Disney Transportation:

1. Walk to CO and then take the DTD bus.

2. Monorail to CO, POLY or GF then take the DTD BUS

3. Take a resort bus to FQ, SS, OKW, WL then switch to the DTD bus.

The quickest way is to walk to CO and then take the DTD bus. For this I would leave MK at least by 4:00 for the 6:00 Cirque show. Since you have to walk to Cirque from PI and they recommend you arrive at Cirque 1/2 hour before the show starts.

Great! Thank you! I figure we'll catch the parade then head out - and if we get to DTD in a reasonable time, grab a small snack. We have dinner reservations after the show.

Walk to the Contemporary and take a taxi. You're not going to DTD to shop, you need to be at Cirque on time. You might have to wait 30 minutes for a bus to DTD and the bus might make be making stops. You're going to wind up allowing almost an extra hour if you rely on Disney transportation.

You can get to the Contemporary 5-5:15 and have no problem if you grab a taxi. You'll probably want to be at the Contemporary shortly after 4 if you want to rely on a Disney bus.

Alternately you could take a bus from the MK to SSR and walk to DTD. Bus service to SSR is probably better then service to DTD but you'll still want to be at the bus stop by 4:15-4:30.

Normally I would put this route on the options, but the walk from SSR gets you to the Marketplace side of DTD and you have to walk to the complete opposite end of DTD to get to Cirque. That's a pretty good distance if you combine the two.

I agree that walking to CR and cabbing it to DTD will be the most efficient overall means to get to DTD from the MK. Using Disney transport, I would vote for walking to CR and then taking the bus to DTD/PI.

Keep in mind that the show starts at 6:00. You need to be there at 5:30.
