We are planning a family get together/vacation for December of 2005(3-10th) and will be trying to obtain 2GV's - but if that fails I am looking into renting a large house/vacation home near Disney and stumbled on to this one - its really nice take a look!

Thanks it's interesting to see the area options.

The fees involved are noteworthy -- No cleanings unless you pay $150; a start-up supply of paper goods supplied (tp, etc.) but guests are responsible for purchasing additional; charges to turn on the pool heat ($35/day with 2 day minimum); $50 charge to get the key early if available; $50 charge if you have a pre-arranged late check-out; $100 charge if you do not check out on time; 13% tax; 7-night minimum, etc., etc.
Sure makes DVC looks good. ;)

I agree DVC is the best and I love it!!! But I just thought their presentation was cute. Plus I really need to pray I get those 2 GV otherwise we will be subjected to all those AWFUL FEES!:(

I suggest you call day by day as soon as MS opens each day to reserve your GVs. I think you should be all right doing that. I assume you are thinking of OKW or SSR.

You get all that for about $2800 a week, compare that to the price of 2 grand-villas which would run you about $2500 a day or higher and there is no comparison but to rent the house. Two grand-villas would run about $16000 for the week or higher, what a steal this house is. You would save about 12,000 to $13000.

Gee, do they charge extra each time you open a door?
