A little of this, a little of that, WDW US IOA SeaWorld Legoland Oct 12 PTR

I would love to go to Sea World but find it so hard to justify the cost when we're AP holders at Disney World. Each extra day at Disney is free, or already paid for, (and actually lowers our daily cost). Sounds like a great time!
I don't think I'd keep an ADR on Disney property that night. Too much of a hassle!

Hmmmm, choosing between Cape May and Boma could be tough! I've been to both, and both are really good. Boma is one of my family's favorites. I'd probably pick that one, since it's different fare and the resort is a sight to behold.

We took our DDs to Sea World a few years ago and had a great time!

$45 for SeaWorld tickets is a pretty awesome price :thumbsup2 I haven't been there since 2002 and would love to go back, but it's been hard to pry me away from Disney lately

Glad to hear everyone gets along so well! :grouphug: Sounds like fun times will be had by all :cool1:

Someday I want to start venturing off property and do Sea World, Aquatica even Universal. But once you are invested in WDW tickets it's hard to accept the cost of the other tickets. $45 is an awesome price! Good for you!

Ugh I know. The only way I'm justifying it is because we're staying so long, and staying offsite to save some money that way.

Yeah, I think I'm going to cancel the Whispering Canyon. It's going to be crazy to try and get back in time. I think we'll use our Girodanos pizza certificate that night instead.

I'm thinking if I make a late Boma reservation, we can go out and use the night vision goggles afterwards. DD really enjoyed that when we stayed there.

We've never been to SeaWorld. DD is so looking forward to it!

October 26. Our last full day :(

However, I bet after 2 weeks, we'll be sick of each other and so ready to go home!

Today, thanks to yet another disboards post, we are using our discount/kids free Legoland tickets. This wasn't a park I really wanted to go to, but the more I thought about it, the more I realized this is probably the last year that DS will be small enough to appreciate the rides and really want to go to Legoland. The discount tickets sealed the deal.

Legoland closes at 5, then we'll head to DTD for dinner at Trex. This is going to be DS's most favorite day ever :)

We might do a little shopping at DTD if anyone has any money left :lmao: After that it's back to WBC to start packing :(

We did our first family movie night tonight to start our long countdown until our trip. 160 days! We found the ideas in the Family Movie Night thread here on the DIS. The kids had fun. I'm tired :)

Tonight was Lilo and Stitch

Our table. The little kids got coconut cups, the bigger people got regular luau themed cups. We used leis we already had, and found the pineapple for 39 cents. The lanterns were from the Dollar Tree and we plan on using them for Mulan and Tangled nights. The lava lamp is DDs

Our invitation/menu/activity flyer (I have no idea why it printed black!)

DS doing the "experiment hunt". I printed out tiny experiments and cut them out and taped them up around the house. We originally told the kids they had to find the other 625 experiments and they thought we were serious

I remember reading your PTR, but I guess I never commented... :scratchin

Your plans sound great! Congrats on getting all those ADRs :)

Super cute movie night! We did that one last month over Spring break too.

That is awesome!! Great job...I'm sure the kids loved it!!

Awesome movie night!!! :thumbsup2

Love the movie night! The lava cakes look so yummy!

Thanks for all the compliments, although, I did nothing but implement a bunch of other people's ideas :) I'm really not that creative! DS was at a pool party so DD helped me and DS had no idea and walked in to this big surprise. This is his "I have no idea what's going on here" look

And remember my other 2 big boys? They were too cool to do anything but eat, so this is what they did during activities: soccer in the cul-de-sac

We have soccer games all weekend, so I think movie night will have to be Friday. DS gets to help this time, and we're doing Alice in Wonderland. The only explanation is because I have the food on hand to do that one :)

Today I mailed my mom her Mothers Day card, and gave her a Disney gift card. Her birthday is in June, so I'm thinking either another gift card or maybe even a couple of things she could use on the trip, although I have no idea what!

I've already rearranged some of our plans. I know, loser. I just realized our "majority rules" day was most likely going to be an Epcot pick, and it was a PM EMH for that day, so I changed it to Seaworld that day and and moved our majority rules day back a day. Not a big deal at all. Now if we could just get brother and SILs schedule so we can firm up the plans for when they are with us. I'm sure I'll be changing a million other things between now and then.

Movie Night #2

Love both the Movie Nights! Looks like a fun time! I'm definitely going to file your Alice in Wonderland ideas for future use. :thumbsup2

Just have to say, I'm pretty jealous of your Alice in Wonderland movie night...:rolleyes1

I  Alice in Wonderland (books and movies)

Awesome movie night!!!!
Legoland sounds really cool. We *might* go to the one in California next year....

I wasn't sure about going, but the discount tickets were too good to pass up. Plus, I think this will be the last year that DS will really enjoy it. Next trip he'll probably be too big.

That looks awesome!!!! Great job!

Another successful movie night! Good job!!

Thanks for all the love on Alice night! Once again, as much as I'd love to take the credit, I'm just accumulating ideas from the movie night thread and throwing out a few ideas of my own here and there. The kids are having fun and looking forward to them, so I guess it's serving it's purpose. Next week DD is back in the helper seat and we are doing Finding Nemo.

Yesterday DH surprised me by taking the day off of work and letting me sleep in as a late birthday/early Mothers Day present. Imagine the panic attack I had when I woke up and the kids had 5 minutes to get on the bus and I thought we had ALL overslept! He had also made arrangements for me to get a massage but I wasn't really feeling it, so we canceled that and went to lunch. You see all that food for movie night? I was too full to eat any of it :)

Today DS had a soccer game at 12:30 and since DH was working I had to take the little ones with me. We got home at 3:30 in time for DS to change, eat and run out the door for game #2 an hour away, which DH lovingly made me stay home and took DS to the game. I'm on duty for the game tomorrow in the rain (Happy Mothers Day!)

We did get something Disney accomplished though: our countdown board. We cut out 100 Disney related shapes from my Cricut, numbered them and taped them on a poster board. We'll pull down one a day starting at day 100.

Happy Mother's Day!
Love the countdown board. You really are more creative than I am, despite your protestations! :rolleyes1
