Our super stubborn DS3 has been potty training for 6 months- we are at the 85% mark. We have kids club booked for one night with his older brother. While my hubby and I can't wait, I am nervous that an accident might happen since there is a lot of stimulation. Most days we go without any accidents- we have an occasional poopie accident- and are working on this. Our trip is after Thanksgiving. My fear is that we have an accident while at kids club and we get the boot. Has this happened to anyone before? What should I do? Am i crazy to leave him there? Please help settle my mind. Thanks in advance.

It's a calculated risk. If he has an accident you will definitely have to go get him right away. IF you are ok with having your evening interrupted and can roll with the flow, then I say take a chance. If it is going to be a total disaster if you have to pick up early, I would wait until a later trip.

Could you send him in a Pull-Up/Easy Up? It's not like they're checking to see if he has underwear on, and so a basic #1 leak shouldn't attract attention.

Mind you this was 3 to 4 years ago but my daughter had an accident while at the kids club. They had a set of clothes that then gave her. We didn't even know it happened till we picked her up and she had on different shorts. Again she was potty trained but there was so much going on and she was embarrassed to ask where the bathroom was and it happened. But they handled it well. I don't know if the policy has changed regarding accidents at kids club but that was our experience.

I would consider hiring a babysitting service instead of using a kids club. Kids Nite Out is the WDW authorized service and we used them when DS was 2 and couldn't go to the clubs. They were wonderful. It would probably price out about the same as putting them in the kids club and you wouldn't have to worry about an accident.
