A little frightening

DS2 is potty training and we've switched him to the feel wet/wetness liners pull ups. Well, he hates them--keeps asking for his "Elmos". But, they are doing the job, he's going much more frequently in the toilet. However, when he does pee, he takkes off his pullups and hides them!! I'm constantly going on treasure hunts for pull ups and I can't find two!! I'm getting scared.

What are you scared of? He is a little boy and only 2 at that. Some kids just take a little longer and he will finish potty training when he is ready.
I wouldn't worry too much about him, as he sounds like a totally normal 2 year old.

She's scared because she can't find two of the hidden pullups.

Take him shopping to pick out some big boy underpants he likes ! Sounds like real incentive to move up.

This whole potty training thing is his idea; with a new baby in the house, I didn't want to start this right now. That's why we are using the feel wet pullups, all the benefits of both the diaper and big boy underwear.

I had my first son potty trained at 2.....or so I thought..... He had a little fisher price race track in the playroom.....well.....he had NOT been using the cars to race down the track... I discovered this after the track had been thoroughly "used".
