A little fairwell from me to my friends and the DIS.

I will not be coming on for some time. VMK has consumed me and sucked all the Disney magic out of me just as fast as it came. I used to think VMK was so fun, but now so many rude people are joining. I had no idea there were so many rude people in this world. Going to Disney now feels like a chore! It's so hard to say that but it is true VMK has done this to me. I will be returning to DISboards AND VMK Sunday April 23rd late afternoon, but I will not leave until tomorrow afternoon to give everyone one final goodbye and let my non-DIS friends know. Happy Easter everyone. I may get on VMK for 2-3 minutes to get the daily credits but that's ALL I will be doing.

Lady I am sorry to here that. You are not the first to take a break and we hope you don't stay gone too long.

I am a little frustrated and upset about the way people have been acting this week, similarly to the begining of the year when the ice came out and people were being ugly to each other. All we can do is try to stay in the right frame of mind, something I may have lost track of for a bit this evening when they changed the quest, and try to set a good example and help out where we can.

I have met a lot of great friends in VMK, yet at times it does seem the game is playing us not us playing the game.

I will be out of town for about a month starting sunday so I will likely be on less too but I will be around as I have grown to really enjoy my friends and ignore the bad parts as much as possible.

Please remember that VMK is a great way to connect with friends and not really about acquiring the latest magic. It may be frustrating but at the end of the day, it is the friends we have made there that really matters.

Well, I don't know what to say... but enjoy your break from VMK, I know that'll help. Sometimes a break is what you need. I found that out after spending three hours trying to get Narnia teleporters and another three hours trying to complete the quests.

It seems that way lately. It seems up to us to keep the faith. The corporate animal that Disney has become is rotting from within. The rot is starting to show on the outside. All over.

Check out this article on the tiki birds and on what has happened to Disney culture. It is an interesting example of what you are talking about. Read some of the comments. I am starting to feel the same way. VMK is totaly subject to this.

The new quests i can't seem to do because people will not move out of the way. I have not opened my game room this week because I am in burn out mode.
