Today we got a touch of "magic" at IOA. We had ressies at 10:15 for the Spiderman breakfast.

My original itinerary had us arriving at IOA at 8:15 for a possible opening of 8:30, and riding Spiderman and the rides in Seuss Landing until breakfast.

Unfortunately, that plan didn't happen. DS, 5, woke up with severe asthma. Instead of standing online at 8:00 at IOA, we were online across the street at Centracare on Vineland for their 8:00am opening....that's actually a really convenient location for a walk in clinic.

Anyway, we didn't get out of there until 9:30 and then ran into lots of traffic trying to reach the parking lot and then the park entrance. We were late for our ressies, and we were running top speed trying to make the restaurant (with our asthmatic in a stroller!).

We got there at 10:30 just as they were closing the doors of the restaurant. They let us in and even though they started packing up the food, the waitress came over and told us not to worry she would keep things warm in the back; if we wanted anything else we should just ask her and she'd bring it out.

The character interaction was awesome! Spiderman was wonderful with the boys. We had plenty of time with all the characters including Cat in the hat and Thing 1 and 2. It was really a "magical" time.

That's good to hear! Hope your DS is okay. I know I've had asthma problems in the past when visiting FL...that darn humidity kills me!

I'm glad your family enjoyed the Spidey breakfast and found "magic" at IOA. I hope your son feels better now (and you, too!) It's so hard when one of your kids gets sick on vacation.

What you experienced was Universal "Mystique". ;) I hope your little man felt like enjoying Spidey. I'm glad it worked out that you were all able to make it to the breakfast & have a great time while there. Those are the types of days that create the best memories. :)

Ah, so glad to hear that it had a happy ending. USO employees really do try hard to make your visit memorable.

I'm so glad that everything worked out for you! I hope your son is feeling better, all three of your kids are absolutely adorable!

Glad you enjoyed your day, nice to see that everyone was really helpful. :thumbsup2
