I wish I could remember the article I read discussing Make A Wish and Disney. The families have their own little resort from what I remember and they celebrate different holidays depending on the day the week. This is what got me so choked up. They do this so each child can have one more of each holiday in case it is their last.

Definitely puts this in perspective - thank you for sharing.

Yes, it is Give Kids the World. Disney characters often visit there to meet the kids.

It is Give Kids the World village. Sadly, I have a friend whose daughter was given a Make A Wish trip. They are going the second week of April. I offered to help plan the trip but she said they don't have to worry about ANYTHING. Every detail is planned for them. I'm looking forward to hearing about their magical trip.

They are staying at Give Kids The World, and from what I'm hearing that place in INCREDIBLE!

Let's see if I can make it through this without the waterworks getting turned on.

Just saw a FB post from his Grandmother, who is with them:

This is for you Mom, Jackson said we had to go on It's a Small World for Greatgrandma. Her favorite ride at Disney and it's full of dolls!

Greatgrandma passed away last November and she was an avid doll collector.

And a little later:

Jackson thru in some shiny pennies in the water for Greatgrandma. Definitely a tear jerker ride for me.
