A little DCA news....

My wife and I were at DCA today (after eating at CoCo's) and we can report a couple of new happenings:

Flik's Fun Fair was open but only for a corporate private party. So much for public sneak previews!

Lucky Fortune Cookery over in the Wharf is gone for good. All that is left was the small fortune cookie stand. (It was closed, though) The new menu there is a couple of mexican food items. An enchilada plate and a taco salad. It looks like Disney is running it themselves. It also looks temporary. It also was closed, by the way. (I wonder what the Mission Tortilla people think about Disney competing with them right across the Wharf?)

Anyway, that's all I got.

When will FFF officially open? We will be there in early October.

In the rec.arts disney section a couple of people posted trip reports after their visit to Fliks faire and thought the theming was very well done but the rides were typical carny type rides with great themeing but the rides themselves wer4e short in duration and not many of them so if busy (if that ever happens) you should expect long waits.
