A little concerned with renting a WH home from someone in the UK

I have found a home I really like within the Windsor Hills resort. The owners seem very nice and have rave reviews from previous guests.

My only concern is that they are from the UK. I'm not sure if my credit card company will protect me with an out of the country charge.

Any advice?

Why not call your credit card company to find out what their policies are? You might be worried for nothing.

I can't see it as a problem. I've rented a guesthouse in Scotland for my dd while she was studying abroad and I never had any trouble with that transaction. I did worry a bit, but usually you are protected by most credit card companies, especially with gold or platinum status. I agree, call your cc company and ask if you are concerned.

You will find that a great many Disney-area villa owners are from the UK. You should have no fears about dealing with them.

I agree most home owners i have delt with are from the UK I can not say one thing bad about this group......And allott of them are on this board!I have had more problems from homeowners in the U.S.A. answering questions and what not

I'm sure you will not have a problem with WH. WH is a very popular place and gets very good reviews.
I rented from people from the UK last year and went very well, no problems at all. We are renting again this year from UK owners.

I agree. Three of our 5 rental owners have been from the UK. The owners have all been great.

We have rented several homes for people in the UK and have always had a great experience. They are all very accomodating.
