I would like to wish all the Dads a Happy Fathers Day!

EDIT: I didn't look very well at my little thing I posted and now that I see it, I think it has the wrong year. LOL! Oh Well, you guys all know I mean this year!

Yesterday was Claires Dance Recital. She did very good. She didn't seem so shy looking on the stage. She just looked like she was having a good time. Her act was one of the better ones. It seemed like so many had no clue what they were doing. I am debating switching dance schools. Her school doesn't seem to be improving at all over the last few years. I have her signed up for next year, and after that I may look for a new school. (Or go to the one my niece goes to.)

We had a bit a Disney fun though...One of the songs was the Phineas and Ferb ...Bow chick a wow wow song. We Love that song. I think Skip even perked up in his seat when it came on. (he loves Phineas and Ferb). We have Phineas And Ferb tickets for Sept. I think we actually have really good seats too. I just got two tickets, but Skip is kind of debating on going, so if he does, I'll be staying home, which is OK if he actually wants to go.
They also had a few other Disney songs in the show too.

Afterwares we went to get a bite to eat, and my Mom gave our little star a gift. One of the things in her bag full of goodies was Tinkerbell brithstone earings. Mom said she had gotten them on the cruise and hid them till now. That sly Mom! LOL!

So glad Claire had fun at the dance recital! I'm hoping to get to go to a few of those in the future for my niece (she is just turning one though, so I've got a little while), I think something girly would be fun after all these years of sports!!

How sweet that your mom got Claire those earrings and then saved them for a special occasion

Love the update! Oh, how I would love to have a meet and greet with Captain Jack... I wish they would bring the Pirate and Princess Parties back to the Magic Kingdom, then I wouldn't have to wait for a cruise to get my picture taken with him.

I wish they would too. We actually went to WDW twice while it was going on, but at that time I would never dream to pay for a party...the year I decided to, they canceled them for the year. And I don't know if I'll ever get to go for one of the other parties, so I may never get to experience one. Of course I kick myself now.

I snapped a few pictures as we tried to figure out how to get to Cookies Too.

We end up going into Spring a Leak later on in the day, but those photos are on the lost card.

We found a Cast Member and asked how to get to Cookies Too. It just seemed confusing on the map to us….maybe it was that lack of sleep kicking in.

She pointed us down the bike trail and told us where to turn. I don’t think she really had a clue, and I would NOT suggest going this way. The Bikers don’t seem to realize that people also walk on this at times and I saw many times near collisions. There is one spot where there is a LOT of people in the area and the bike trail goes right though and the bikers didn’t seem to realize it. Especially the kids on bikes. And the people crossing the trail didn’t realize they needed to look for bikers coming through as well.

We finally found it and went in for some grub.

I had a little encounter with a rude lady. We were waiting in line with our trays. The line we were in went to the right, but to my left was a fruit area. The lady behind me wanted fruit, and just took the plate off my tray? I was amazed at this and I say “Uh, no, this is my plate” and I took it back. She then got a little snotty and said “Well can you GET me a plate then”…I guess she was too good to wait. I just handed her one and she’s lucky I didn’t bash her on the head with it! LOL!

My favorite Cookies. These were so good and they had them on the ship too.

I swear I had taken pictures of our plates, so if I did, they are on the lost card. The food was just OK. Nothing great, but edible. Skip would like it, as he loves buffets, but I wasn’t too impressed. This was probably my least favorite meal of the whole cruise.
We got some dessert too, which again was just OK. Disney needs to getter a better brand of ice-cream. Though I think the island version was better than the ships version…which I had also tried at one time, but I don’t remember when. LOL!

After we ate, I think we used the bathrooms…which I didn’t think were too magical either, and headed for a spot on the beach. I think this was a trash can outside the bathroom and when I was taking the picture, someone gave me a weird look, and Mom told them I take pictures of everything. LOL!

After settling in to a spot on the beach, Mom decided it was time to head back for her excursion. We agreed just to meet up later on the ship.

Claire wanted a tube for the water, so we went over to the rental place and got one. Only $6 for the day, and it was worth it for the fun she had with it.

We then made our way to the water for some fun!

Is it even worse if you use your pirate DS as an excuse to get close to him? He's getting a picture with him whether he realizes it or not, and so is Mommy!

Hehehe! Only 7 months more of dreaming of him!

What a rude person! As much as I'd like to say I would have wooped her hind end, I would have done what you did. Only because my DD was around. If it would have been me & her alone, well..........

Good job to Clarie on her dance recital. Kadence was at a school like that last year. The girls didn't have a clue as what to do when it was recital day. Then top it off the school closes and runs away with a bunch of peoples money! I lost 20 bucks, but others a lot more.
We didn't do dance this year, but we are looking into a new dance place for the fall. I just wish her first dance teacher still did it, She was so sweet to the girls and they knew the routines so well.

I love the odd stuff. Yes, I've been done with the dining for awhile,so it may bring flashbacks to some. I should go read the dining again myself. I am haveing a hard time remembering stuff now since so much time has passed.
